Background of the General Lee vehicle :
The General Lee is an orange 1969 Dodge Charger featured n the television series The Dukes of Hazzard, driven by Duke brothers, Bo and Luke. It stands out for its distinct horn, thrilling police pursuits, daredevil stunts, and the fact that its doors are permanently closed, requiring the Dukes to enter and exit through the windows. The car makes an appearance in all episodes but one. The vehicle’s name pays homage to Robert E. Lee, the general of the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. It exhibits a Confederate battle flag on the rooftop and boasts a horn that plays the initial 12 notes of the melody ‘Dixie’.
