- The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Your private guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby around 08:30 or you request time, one hour drive to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, around 3 hours enjoyable visit to museum pit 1, pit 2, pit 3 and Bronze Chariots all exhibition without any tourist factory stop.
You will have a Xi’an authentic local restaurant lunch before one hour drive back downtown for afternoon activities. Your guide and driver will drive you back hotel at end of this whole day tour.
- Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - Follow your guide to climb up to the top of the 600 years old Ancient City Wall, and enjoy around 30 minutes comfortable and quietly walking or rent a bike do 30 minites to 1 hour cycling exercise on the top of the wall. You also will see local people’s relaxation in moat park at the bottom of the Wall.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - Big Wild Goose Pogoda is considered as one of the Xi’an History landmarks,a Great Tang dynasty culture relics temple. Your private guide will tell you why the pogoda is leaning, the relationship between the “Silk Road”and Tang, what is the Buddhist philosophy and how today’s China religion condition is. If your visit time is the chanting day, you will see a lot of monks and believers stay out changting in the yard.

Xi'an 2-day private classic tour with Julia - We spent 2 wonderful days in Xi'an with the help of our tour guide, Julia. We were picked up at our hotel each day and travelled to the sights by car throughout the day. On the first day, we visited the Big Goose Pagoda, the Terracotta Army and the Muslim quarters and we also saw a great show about the Silk Road, which was recommended to us. On the second day we started off at the Hanyang Tomb, followed by the Bell and Drum Tower and finished on the City Wall. For lunch, we had biang biang noodles in a small town local and dumplings in a popular restaurant in the city centre. Julia was very knowledgeable and introduced us all the sights very thoroughly (with very good English) and we also learned more about the locals every day life.
It is not our first time with Catherine Lu Tours, so would highly recommend any tour with them for a memorable experience.

Xi’an one day extraordinaire - Julia was our guide for the one day private tour we had in Xi’an. Despite being May 1, the start of the holiday , she has taken us to all the planned touristic destinations we planned The Terracotta Army, Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim street. Moreover , at her suggestion we also saw a very popular show and she arranged for the tickets on the spot. She took us to a local restaurant and ate the local Biang Biang Noodles speciality. She is very knowledgeable, her English is very good and very friendly, warm personality. She really made our day in Xi’an feel very special.

A Memorable Tour in Xi’an - Ding seamlessly managed all aspects of our tour, from securing attraction tickets to coordinating transportation with the driver, ensuring our experience was hassle-free. Day of fun and learning@Xi’an - Had a great time today touring Xi’an,CN.
Big Wild goose pagoda, The famous terra-cotta soldiers & Fabulous lunch afterwards, best meal we had in China so far!! so knowledgeable and easy to talk to made the day so interesting!! rented bikes on the Ming dynasty 600 year old city wall!! highly recommend him for your day inXi’an.

Xi-an - Get over here and take a tour - Fantastic tour with Julia as guide. We didn’t have long in the city, the tour was perfect. Car pick up from hotel, biking on the city wall, the temple, lunch was delicious and then the warrior’s- just mind blowing. Get over to Xi-an, Covid is done and gone, enjoy a vibrant city with a beautiful history. Julia was knowledgeable, patient, friendly and made the day a memorable one that we will never forget.

Fantastic tour with Julia - We had a fantastic time as a family in Xi'An with our english speaking guide Julia. Julia was a wonderful guide and I highly recommend her and that you ask for her for an english tour. Julia took us to the top sights in Xi'An, and organized an efficient day for us that allowed us to maximize time and we were able to get dropped off at the airport, we were grateful that Julia accompanied us to the airport. The driver was excellent and friendly as well. Julia was warm and explained not only the history and tour of Xi'An, we also truly enjoyed conversation with her throughout our day together. We truly could not have imagined a better tour. The lunch was local and delicious, filled with Xi'An local foods and Julia especially went to an additional place to buy local snacks for us. We are so grateful for this experience, to see amazing city wall, Terracotta soldiers/army, pagodas, and we look forward to a future visit to Xi'An and tour with this company and hopefully Julia!

Excellent day in Xi’An with French-speaking guide - highly recommended!!! - We spent an incredible day with our French speaking guide Lucie and driver in Xi’An that was arranged by Catherine Lu agency. In the morning we visited the Terracotta Army with excellent explanations from Lucie. Then we had a delicious local lunch where Lucie ordered some wonderful specialities for us to try. And in the afternoon we visited the Wild Goose Pagoda. It was an excellent day. I have nothing negative to say and will definitely contact the agency and Lucie again when I return.

Understanding China's Past in Xi'an - Had a wonderful time exploring Xi'an this past day and a half with our tour guide, Lisa. Lisa is a very knowledgable and accommodating guide. She shared a lot of interesting facts and history about the places that we visited; and also went the extra mile to make sure that our group of mostly senior citizens are well taken care of. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Terra Cotta Warriors, exploring Muslim Street, and eating Biang Biang Noodles. Xi'an with Lisa is definitely worth a try.

Simply the best way to visit Xi’an - We had a wonderful time with so many great memories to take away, from the terracotta warriors to the big wild goose pagoda, a walk along the city wall, the bell and drum towers. We even got to see a musical about the Silk Roads!
Elith was the best guide one could hope for, her English was great and she was a fun person to spend the day with. She also has a lot of fascinating historical history to tell and she can take you to a great restaurant too! And a big thank you also to our great lady driver who also helped to make the day such a fantastic experience. Many thanks.
