You shouldn’t miss this secondary waterfall series when traveling to Lombok. Located in the Central Lombok district, just a mere one and a half hour journey from , Benang Setokel, which translates to a clump of thread, is a two-tier waterfall with each layer soaring to a height of 20 meters. The water originates from a river located on top of Mount Rinjani.
Lingsar temple, the largest temple on Lombok Island, has been around since 1714. It was established by the successor of King Ketut Karangasem. The temple is a conglomerate of Hinduism and Islamic Wektu Telu.
Top heritage site of the historical Narmada Water Palace. Built by the Mataram King in 1805, it is a copy of the Mount Rinjani apex and the Crater Lake. The palace was erected by the elderly king when his climbing days to the 3,726 m high Rinjani mountain were over.
