If these walls could talk - Maria met us at the Zygmunt Column, and being a group of 15+ students I didn't expect her to hold our attention for long. But how wrong I was. Maria had story after story to tell us, from Zygmunt and his position on the column, to the love story of her parents meeting and dating on Piwna Street. She had something for everyone and in her hand she had some old photos that helped embellish her stories, especially when it concerned matters of architecture. She spoke perfect English and really enjoyed the enthusiasm of our group. There was lots of questions and answers. Visiting the Stare Miasto with Maria really brought out its hidden beauty and secrets. It took an hour but it felt like 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

A delicious touch of history - Even a drizzle did not cool down the warm atmosphere of this tour. Food was excellent and I found it representative for Polish cuisine. Immersion into the culture and history through personal stories of the Varsovian guide was both pleasant and interesting.

An exciting adventure through Warsaw! - Maria was so very attentive. We visited Warsaw just before Christmas. Myself and 2 adult sons. It was perfect, food, beautiful local deli shops very authentic and amazing food - different tastes of Poland's wonderful cuisine (I am quite a foodie, but my boys loved it too!) Maria was so informative and shared everything she could about her knowledge and own experiences of Warsaw. It was amazing. A very happy life memory and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Fabulous Food tour of Warsaw - I thought this tour was fantastic. The food was interesting and delicious. Maria showed us parts of Warsaw we would never have seen without her. Modern Warsaw is dynamic and shows how a city can regenerate itself after a difficult history. She shared with us the experiences of her father who was involved in the fighting in the city during WW 2 and the whole tour felt like a personal tour with a friend. You must do it!!!

A great food tour and much more - We did the food tour of Powisle with Maria on October 17th 2023. She is a great guide. Very friendly and with so much interesting information to share, not only about the delicious and varied food we ate, but also about the fascinating history of the area and her family's part in it.
