Great experience of Old Tallinn - Tour guide was very knowledgeable, spoke good English and had some good recommendations! Being in a small group was good to be able to hear the tour guide, ask questions easier and connect with the group more. We visited a couple of shops trying different samples of schnapps, honey, mustard and chutneys. Had two sit down meals; mushroom soup in ‘a monks basement’ and modern Estonian cuisine at Farm Restaurant. Learned a great lot about Estonian culture, cuisine and history!

Fun and informative food tour of Tallinn! - We stopped at four locations to try traditional liquor, mushroom soup (our favorite - we came back to Munga Kelder the next day for more), brown bread, honey and jams, and a tasting menu at Farm (pate, smoked fish, caviar, beef tartar) and kama for dessert. My husband and I were the only people on this food tour, which made the experience intimate and a lot more personalized. Svetlana was a fantastic guide and gave us a map of her recommended museums, hot chocolate cafe, and restaurants. Highly recommend for one of your first days in Tallinn to get a history of the city and for exploring new places to visit (and restaurants to return to). Great value for the cost of the tour!

Excellent experience x2!! - I had the very good fortune of completing two tours with Svetlana: a two hour walking tour of old city and the food experience tour. Both tours were informative and fufilling! But there are tours…and then there are tours. What separated these experiences from most was the quality of the guide. Svetlana is uniquely knowledgeable and she clearly has a passion to share her experience of Tallinn with those that seek to discover it. More importantly, perhaps, she is a warm and kind person who is able to breathe life and understanding into this culturally complex, yet beautiful space, in this world we all share.

Eat great local food off the beaten path - Anastasia was an amazing and kind guide; so knowledgeable and combined both food and history stories into the tour. I really liked that we visited places off the beaten path; as a solo traveller, this was a great way to see parts of the city that I wouldn’t have ventured to on my own. The portions sizes were perfect; not too much, not too little and I really liked the mixture of food and drink stops. Thoroughly recommend for groups or solo travellers.

Solo Traveller Experience - okay - The tour was good since I learned a bit of history on Estonia and heard some things about Medieval stories, however I did not go to all of the stops on the tour that are outlined in the description, half of the places we went to were places with free samples and if I wanted more I would need to pay for it in my own time, and I was the only one on the tour which I didn’t feel comfortable with a male-tour guide who was making some gender-related remarks here and there. Whilst I still enjoyed the food, I don’t think it’s worth it unless you have a group going with you. I would’ve rather have known I was the only one on the tour and cancelled it.

Not worth it. Tour ≠ description - The tour was an hour short of what was advertised. One stop was going to a store to try their free samples of mustard. Other stops were skipped altogether because they were too crowded. Food provided is not what was advertised in the description you've read. Hard to get in touch with the tour company to attempt to resolve these errors. I firmly recommend you avoid this tour.

Awful experience - I had an earlier tour and we tried our best to get back to meeting point but police were blocking road. My guide called him and explained I was walking fast to get there. In 2 min I was there and no one around. I texted him I was in a dream shirt with a walking stick held high in air. Nothing No text back about meeting them somewhere. I finally spotted a different guide and she said Roman went around that corner. Went that way and finally he came up Street a few doors down and reminded me I was 18 minutes late. That after I texted him I already paid for trip. Went to meet other 3 guests and kept saying how late I was. I was only 7 minutes late and the other guide did tell him I was racing to meeting point which was not clear where in the square. The rest of the tour seemed like it was just a job to get through. Another guest was slower and I stayed with her while he raced ahead with other 2. He was showing them highlights of where we were. I pointed out we could not hear him. He replied oh I was not saying anything. After the last stop he said that’s it. I told him I didn’t know where I was and we weren’t even back at the meeting point. He shrugged and ran off. Another guest helped me back until I knew where I was going so would not get lost.
