Soweto day tour with Rasta the local. A man with a plan - This tour was way different to the other tours we have done in Johannesburg. The group size was small and a lot more focused on the client than other tour operators we had booked with. The laid back and friendly approach from our guide was so refreshing. Although we still went to the commercial parts like the apartheid museum and Mandela house, our guide took us into the heart of soweto. The best place to really learn and experience the pulse of the township. We highly recommend this tour when next you find yourself in Johannesburg. We'll worth the money spent

Authentic experience with the local community - Very memorable experience. I enjoyed the design of the Apartheid Museum, highly educational and inspiring. I also got the chance to visit Soweto township, meet and communicate with local people and kids, and have a street food which is remarkably tasty. All the tour guides are knowledgeable and dedicated. This tour is for culture lovers who seek interactions with the local community.

Fascinating Soweto day tour - Really enjoyed this tour of Soweto. The guide was a local resident who was brought up in Soweto under the apartheid regime. He told me some really fascinating and highly interesting facts about Soweto that I think not many people know about. We avoided all the touristy places and got a real feel for the soul of the place. Well done guys

My tour guide was the greatest! - My tour was with Xplore Africa Travel & tours. I can't recall his name but he was very flexible with picking us up. The tour was one day, but we really got a chance to experience Jozi. We saw the house of Nelson Mandela, Soweto, tour the Mandela's Museum, experience several cultural tours and got to understand the cultural heritage of the city. It was the best way to see as well as experience Jozi.
