Highlights
- Sorrento in bici - Meeting Point
- Positano - Along our route on the coast road overlooking the Gulf of Salerno, we will pass through Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi coast and we will stop a few minutes to admire its beauty before continuing
- Praiano - After Positano, we will cross Praiano, another fascinating and characteristic village built on the slope of the hill and overlooking the blue waters of the Gulf of Salerno
- Amalfi Coast - We will ride along the main road 163 between hills and sea, a winding road with a breathtaking view
- Amalfi - Amalfi, ancient Maritime Republic, is the point of arrival of our bike tour. We will make a brief stop to admire the cathedral, the splendid panorama and the characteristic alleys

Additional Information
Starting from Sorrento towards Meta, we pass through some smaller towns in the Sorrento Peninsula, such as Sant’Agnello and Piano di Sorrento.
Upon reaching Meta, we’re faced with the first difficulty of the day: a 5km uphill battle with a 4-5% incline that takes us to the peak of
Teresinella, and the start of State Road 163 towards Amalfi.
From here, we’ll descend, making dozens of bends, onto the Amalfi coast, traveling through the renowned towns of Positano and Praiano, and finally reaching the Amalfi Cathedral.
Throughout the journey, we each tackle elevation changes of 2-3 km with inclines between 4 and 5%, and traverse 20 km along the coastal road with views of the Gulf of Salerno.
Once we reach Amalfi, we’ll take a brief break in the coastal town, exploring the traditional alleyways and large Sant’Andrea Cathedral.
After our break, we head back to Sorrento, following the same track as the outgoing trip.
Our Bike Tour concludes in Sorrento after roughly 60 km.

Amalfi Tour - From the first contact to the farewell, they were friendly, courteous and an absolute asset to the holiday. I had my own bike with me, but I'm sure the rental would work out great too.

Beautiful road ride along the coast - Custom distance and pick up road biking trip provided for me and my husband along the Amalfi coast. We had an amazing time. Fabio and his team were friendly and accommodating. We would definitely do a tour with them again!

enjoy bike sorrento - we reserved the tour in advance with pick up from our hotel. and were glad to find out that it's only the 2 of u with the guide which gave us actually a private tour. we managed to extend the route, drive faster stop in many greta view sites. the guide, Pietro (peter) was very professional and and had great time together. The bikes were in excellent condition (mine were completely new

Experience of a lifetime! - This Amalfi Coast Bike Tour was beyond the highlight of my trip to Italy; it was one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. It's the ideal way to see one of the most spectacular scenes in the world. Peter was the perfect guide—attentive, engaging and accommodating.

Sorrento to Amalfi: a perfect bike day with "The Bike Experience" - It always was a great dream for me to ride on the Via Amalfitana. Today my dream absolutely came trough! With the help of the Bike Experience Team, I could rent everything for a perfect guided tour from Sorrento to Amalfi. My bike-guide Fabio came to the hotel with all the stuff and 20 minutes later we were on the road. Perfect, friendly guiding, stopps to take fotos, not much traffic and the best Italian weather let to "a giornata molto bellissima"!

Book this tour you wont regret it - This trip was the best part of our stay in the Amalfi Coast. We did the Amalfi coast tour on our first morning. Fabio and colleague came and collected us from Positano and we cycled to Atrani and back stopping at all the little towns on the way. It was really an amazing magical experience! Fabio was an amazing guide, showing us all the best places describing the history of each place. He also took loads of excellent photos of us. on the way back we stopped at a fantastic place for coffee and cake. highly recommend this tour, amazing views, fantastic guide and excellent bikes

We never got to take the... - We never got to take the tour, and what’s more, we’ve been told that we are not entitled to a refund. We had no communication from the tour company prior to the tour. When we were finally able to track them down, they sent us an address for a meeting place that was impossible to find, even for an Italian driver who was familiar with the area. Despite numerous phone calls in an attempt to try to locate the meeting place, the tour left without us. Needless to say, we are extremely unhappy, would NEVER use this company again, and are unlikely to remain good Viator customers!
