- Zhujiajiao Ancient Town - Meet up your friendly private guide at your hotel lobby in the morning or afternoon based on your preferred schedule. Transferred by comfortable vehicle to Zhujiajiao, a water town on the outskirts of Shanghai, and was established about 1,700 years ago.
Upon arrival, stroll along the old street and traditional market where you will find many interesting vendors and local specialties. You will also find the best known bridges, built during Ming and Qing Dynasties. Take a relaxing boat ride in the water canals, and your friendly private guide will share with you the history and story of the area.
After the tour, your guide will send you back to the hotel in Shanghai city.

Highly recommend. Wonderful experience - Highly recommend. We did this tour yesterday and had a wonderful time. Snow, our guide was very friendly, informative and made the experience really enjoyable.

Unique Shanghai Experience - Incredible experience in Shanghai to see a local ancient water town. Our tour guide Snow was super knowledgeable and made the experience for all of us. Definitely recommend if you have half a day when visiting Shanghai!

Memorable water trip - It was a wonderful experience. Although it was quite hot, but the place was nice and not too crowded. The tour guide- Ms Blair spoke very good English, very friendly and super nice. She showed us around the area, helped us exchanged money, and we learnt a lot about the culture with her. Highly recommend the tour and Ms Blair to everyone who visit Shanghai for the first time

Great experience - We (family with two kids - 9 and 7 years old) had a really nice experience with Amazing Shanghai Trip. The tour coordinator, Alana, communicated perfectly beforehand and we were picked up at our hotel as scheduled by our guide, May, and the driver. The drive was comfortable.
May gudied us around in Zhujiajiao and was very friendly and sweet. She was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Our kids enjoyed spending time with her and they talked a lot with her as well.
During our tour in Zhujiajiao we visited 3 gardens/temples, had a boat trip in the canal and ate lunch at a local restaurant. May helped us pick out some local dishes. All was very good!
Thank you so much for a well arranged tour! And thank you, May, for all the tips you gave us for our last days in Shanghai.

Excellent tour - Loved this experience, the guide Snow, was so informative about the history behind everything, she was patient and personable. We were lucky to have her and would request for her again. The tour was great, got to see pearls and choose our own, she brought us to the best shooed and eateries. All in all, an excellent experience. Look for Snow, the guide.

Beautiful town, lots of history, exceptional tour guide. - Blair was an outstanding tour guide. We had so much fun together seeing the sites. We took a 1.5 hr drive from Shanghai. The water tour was absolutely beautiful. We started with a garden tour, then enjoyed a boat ride and touring the town. I would recommend this tour!

Special Shanghai Experience - Wonderful day with tour guide Judy as her driver picked me up from my hotel and we drove about 45 minutes to the beautiful Water Village of Zhujiajiao. Judy is very knowledgeable about Chinese history and how this water village has survived and prospered during the many changes of the last 100 years. Our boatman rowed us along the canal and Judy explained how the former farmers of the town have survived and prospered as shop-owners. I very much enjoyed the garden with the rock formations created for children to play in olden times. This was a wonderful day in a magical place with a sweet and attentive guide. An excellent experience.

Brilliant tour and tour guide - We had an amazing private tour of the Watertown. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the boat ride and lunch and it was great to have the flexibility around doing what we wanted. I highly recommend.

Thanks to Judy for a... - Thanks to Judy for a wonderful tour; she was a great tour guide and we enjoyed the experience a lot. The trip was well planned, ran on time and she did a great job in making sure we enjoyed the visit. The boat ride through the water canals was the highlight of the trip. Was a pleasant break from the city life in Shanghai.
