Amazing experience! - I wanted to visit the DMZ, since this was my fourth time to Seoul and I still had never been. Yura was my guide. The pickup at my hotel was convenient, easy and on time. We stopped at about four more hotels and by the time we were finished picking up passengers, the bus was full. On the drive to the DMZ, Yura shared information about North Korea and South Korea, and the history that brought the two countries to where they are today. She explained what we’d be seeing, what to expect at each place, and what to do/not do at each place (for example, the first stop had an observatory at the top, but she said it wasn’t worth spending time walking up there because you couldn’t see into North Korea from there). One piece of advice: wear sneakers if you’re walking the third tunnel! It is cold and underground and the ground/ceilings are wet because of how deep underground it is. I’m glad I was wearing sneakers/closed shoes.
