Great tour of Yungay - I was the only visitor on the English language tour today, but that didn't stop Claudio showing me around the neighborhood. He explained the history behind the area, the murals and the current political topics. It's a very different area to the city centre, and well worth a visit.

Inspiring, charming, beautiful place - I had the best time, being in awesome company with Vanessa a truely local sharing even parts of her family history. We all felt like we where visiting a friend showing us around and really knowing the neighbourhood. Having traveled a lot and having seen streetart around the world, i can say that the streetart in Yungay is very very creative, well thought of and highly skilled techniques. I loved all of this Tour. Also some history and good foodie lovers recommendations. Thank you so much ✨😍

Worth the Walk - Enjoyed hearing the inside story to many of the places we visited. The area appeared vibrant and energetic. It was delightful to see the many murals, the architecture, the charm of the alleys and streets, the various establishments that continue to operate and thrive such as the french beauty salon, the sandwich shop, the polish family home converted to a restaurant, the cat alley and the professor’s house. Most of all our guide was knowledgeable, affable and interesting and we certainly learned from discussions related to the human rights museum.

Amazing Murals - I appreciated learning the background on the murals…from an actual muralist! Vanessa took her time and even though it was about 90 F, she never rushed us.. she also shared a lot of Chilean/Santiago history as we walked.
