It is worth it - Very beautiful, extensive and striking place. It is not exactly in Samaipata, you need to take a van from the city to El Fuerte. There are several vans in the city, but they only leave with a minimum number of people, both on the way there and on the way back. The place is very high and the trail is long, you will spend at least an hour, but it is worth it. Another thing, prepare for strong winds. Bring your water, use sunscreen and apply insect repellent.
