GREAT TOUR with Norma Johnson ! - We booked a tour with Bodden Tours for the city tour / sloth and monkey exhibit and we had the best experience with Norma Johnson as our tour guide. We had my 2 year old daughter with us so I was nervous of how the day and experience would be but she was the best guide for us. She was incredibly patient and understanding, spoke great English, and her vehicle was very clean and air conditioned which was a must for our daughter as Honduras heat definitely is different. She interacted so well and even stepped in to help us with our daughter and we all felt so safe and comfortable with her. She is a TRUE GEM and I definitely would recommend her as your guide with Bodden Tours as you will not be disappointed. We truly lucked out and were so blessed to have her assigned as our Guide.

A Perfect Day - Our driver, Roland, was pleasant and polite. He didn't talk constantly like some guides, but he pointed out all the interesting things along the way, shared some history and facts about the island, and answered all our questions. We started our tour by visiting the monkeys, sloths, and macaws, stopped at the chocolate factory and the rum company, then went to Bananarama Resort for some beach time. The day our ship docked in Roatán was our 25th anniversary and we got to do everything we wanted. It was a perfect day.

Perfect! - Our guide, Jorge, was great! He was very knowledgeable about the island. We had a great time and would not hesitate to book another tour with them!

All-Time Favorite!!! - This is one of my all-time favorite excursions in the Caribbean/Mexico that I have ever done! The Ziplining was amazing!! So many runs...I lost count of how many but it seemed like 8 or 9 runs. The guides were personable and skilled and helped us do tricks, like zipping upside down and with no hands! They captured great photos also. So fun! Then afterwards, we joined the rest of our group who chose not to zipline to visit the various animal cages. The capuchin monkeys were my favorite, with these funny creatures jumping on our heads and shoulders. I could have stayed in the monkey cage all day. Next, we visited the sloths. It was fun to get to hold the sloths but they really don't do much and weren't nearly as exciting as the monkeys. Finally, we ended with the parrot cages, again having parrots land on our heads or shoulders. It was really a fantastic experience. I loved it so much! Our guide was open to take us where ever we wanted and offered suggestions for other places to visit. We made a quick stop at the chocolate factory but it was crowded and unimpressive so we walked across the street to the craft market and that was much calmer and we found some cute, local-made souvenirs for a good price. We ended our day with a terrific lunch right on the water. Highly recommend!! Super fun day. I'll remember this excursion for a long time!

Viator kicks ass , guide was fabulous - Our guide was the absolute best. Wonderfully exciting !, we saw things Princess would have never shown us. We spent our time getting to know the real locals, customs and foods. Everything worked like clockwork and back on board as promised. We weren't herded around like sheep with little to no time to really enjoy our vacation. LOVED OUR TOUR GUIDE ! WE WILL DEFINITELY USE VIATOR IN THE FUTURE AND RECOMEND VIATOR AS PRIMO NUMBER 1.

Great experience for our family! - Our family of four was on an April sailing aboard RC Icon of the Seas. Planning our excursion with Victor Bodden through email was easy; we appreciated their responsiveness and consideration of time given hours ship was in port as well as difference in local time vs ship time. The kiosk was a short walk from where we got off the ship. After checking in we were assigned our guide who took us on a short walk through the chaotic and crowded port area to where he had his van parked; by doing this we avoided the traffic jam through the port and were quickly on our way. Transportation was an immaculate air conditioned van. We loved our driver/guide “Tex” who gave us a history and other information about the Island. Our first stop was the sloth/monkey sanctuary. We were all impressed with how clean it was, and how well cared for the animals were. We were escorted around the park with our guide “Wayne”. We got abundant time with all the animals, our guide was knowledgeable and made sure was eager to answer any questions we had. We made a brief stop at a chocolate shop, then spent the rest of the afternoon at West Bay. It was a beautiful beach with a place to eat, and bathrooms. We highly recommend this tour company! Thank you to Tex! We hope you make it to Boston one day to see Fenway Park!

Great times - This was the 2nd time in Roatan, and once again it did not disappoint. We used Victor Roatan both times and they are amazing at making sure you have a great time. William was great as our driver and we got so much history of the island. The staff the worked with the sloths and other animals know their stuff and you can tell they like what they do. Tried zip lining for the 1st time and wow what a rush.

Great tour, as advertised - My fiance and I booked the private customizable tour since our ship didn't arrive in time for a group tour. Big Al was our guide and did a wonderful job driving us all around the island while telling us some history. We did the zipline/sloth/monkey stop which was very fun followed by a beautiful walk through Carambola gardens, then hung out at West Bay Beach for a bit before returning to the boat. Would definitely recommend!

Would do it again with one change. - We booked a private tour with Victor Bodden Tours after a referral from our friends. Our tour guide was Wilfred, he was very kind, knowledgeable, and took great care of us. We started at the Sloth Sanctuary, so cool! Then we took a tour of the island, stopping at a few areas of interest. We asked to go to a beach to relax. We had to pay a $10 fee (which was fine) but the beach was crowded, a lot of people trying to sell you everything, and we did not feel safe leaving our belongings unattended on the beach. This was the only downside of our tour. We would definitely book a tour again with Victor Bodden again.

Good For the Price - I booked a customized tour for my group of 25 that was on a Virgin Voyages cruise. We went to the Monkey/Sloth Sanctuary, did the mangroves tour, and was supposed to go to a public beach - but we were running a bit behind and ended up at a private beach club where the service was very slow and a few of us were refunded the $15 entry fee. Our guide was very friendly and did a good job of explaining things. Overall, it was a good tour but we wish we had done some shopping in town instead of the beach.
