The Best Part of My Italian Vacation - We spent 2 weeks and Italy to celebrate my 50th birthday and by far, this was the best day of our trip. Gaetano was funny, thoughful, informative and very accommodating. He made my special day AMAZING! He even had a special birthday cake at one of the wineries for me. We never felt rushed and we drank more wine that we expected on a wine tour. The wine was paired with some amazing local cheese, meats and homemade other goodies. I cannot recommend this tour enough! It was truly a special experience.

Intimate wine tour - Gaetano was a delight. Even months before our trip he was in communication to plan the Taurasi region wine tasting but also full of advice for other activities to do in Naples. He is definitely a great ambassador for his home town. Our group of 11 was very pleased with the wine tasting at two of the smaller family run vineyards that he chose for that day. The experience was private and intimate with owners, family members and vintners providing tours, wine notes and food. This was exactly the private experience we were hoping for.

Informative, authentic and entertaining wine experience! - Our tour guide, Gaetano, is not only a sommelier, he is also a genealogist and has a passion for history, so not only did he educate us on wines from two different wineries (one small and one larger), he shared his passion for the area we visited. And between wineries, which was in addition to the tour, he took us to a gelato shop to cleanse our palate. I highly recommend this tour. Many thanks to Gaetano.

Family wine at its best! - This was my second, my husband's first tour with Gaetano Petrillo and The Wine Bus! While Gaetano is still working on my genealogy we went on a wine and food tour. We met the owners of two of the most beautiful wineries in the Irpinia wine making region. Wine tasting in Italy is nothing like in the US. Be ready to drink plenty and enjoy wonderful food! We loved Antico Costello and Sell Della Spine! We ordered lots of wine and were a little drunk after the tour! Be ready for Gaetano to tell you all about the surrounding area that is just beautiful!

Can't Miss Experience for Wine Lovers - I love Italian white wines, and couldn't wait for this day of our vacation - to tour a couple of wineries outside of Naples. Expectations were so high it would have been almost impossible to meet them - but the Wine Bus/Gaetano did more than that. We visited 4 wineries and had great meetings with all of them; the experience was greatly augmented by Gaetano's winning personality and immense knowledge of wines. Earlier on our vacation, we did a similar tour in Tuscany, and it couldn't compare - mostly due to Gaetano. I would highly recommend this for any wine lover.
