Story telling with a local guide: A unique outdoor experience learning the historical highlights of Los Cabos and the Californian peninsula.
This tour is part of a community project. This tour is part A of a 2 part Tour.
In this 1.5 hour sightseeing tour (1 mile, wheelchair and stroller friendly), we will walk and learn about the history, culture and legends such as the peninsula`s geology, how the natives lived, how colonization took place, about thieves, the San Jose del Cabo mission church. Part B for another day we cover the battle at the main square, hotels, famous celebrities and more.
Starting on Álvaro Obregón Street in heart of the Art District (downtown San José del Cabo). Reservation required.
Group size:
There are 15 spots max available on this experience.You don’t have to fill all of them. Experiences are meant to be social, so other travelers could join too.
You can join the tour even if you are alone. so if you have trouble booking online just give us a call.

Look for a small courtyard and coffee shop next to Corsica Gallery. There is a 1 foot diameter wooden sign hanging on the sidewalk that says "CaboCityTours.com".

Best way to learn about the history of San Jose de Cabo - The tour was really enjoyable and enlightening. Kristian delved deeper into the history of San Jose del Cabo than most tours. I would definitely checking it out!

Fascinating historical tour about SJC and the cathedral - Kristian showed us some fun hidden gems in San Jose Del Cabo and enlightened us as to the city’s rich history and founding story, including interesting info about the cathedral in the town square. Highly informative and enjoyable!

Well worth your time!! - We are fans of walking tours for painless/interesting learning, and this one was no exception. Kristian shared his knowledge and love of the town, and we heard stories, history and information we would not have learned without the tour, and saw spots we would have not seen otherwise. With a better understanding of the context and culture comes an enriched enjoyment of the area. Take the tour!

Take This Tour! Totally Worth Every Penny - Our tour guide, Chris was extremely knowledgeable in the history, culture and geography of the Cabo De San Jose region. His stories were engaging and helped me understand the development of the people, architecture and traditions of the region. I highly recommend this tour. It is well worth your time and money.

Amazing tour. So much I didn’t know! - I can’t say enough good about my walking historic tour of Los Cabo’s yesterday with Cristian. What a wonderful experience! He is 7th generation local native, it doesn’t get more real than this! What I learned you can’t get from a book. From architecture, archeology, legends, traditions, culture, languages, food, the lists go on and on. So much more to learn about this fascinating little town, the “behind the curtain” as he calls it. This is only one segment of three parts! I’m in! Sign me up! Thank you Cristian, I hope to help you spread the word about this gem of a town and its precious resources.

Great start to our vacation! - What a great way to kickoff our vacation in San Jose del Cabo! This was the first time my husband and I visited San Jose del Cabo and the first time we’ve had a walking tour experience abroad! We didn't know much about the area before we booked the trip; we just heard how beautiful it was. We learned so much from our guide, Kristian, that exceeded our expectations. He gave us so much insight and history about the region and city, as well as what to do. This is a must do and if possible, do on the first day of your trip! Job well done for this tour!
