Just 5 hours, you will enjoy the whole real local experiences at the area with the most memorable moment in the trip
The journey will take you through the beautiful and scenic countryside of Hoi An to Cam Thanh village (around 4kms away from the town center). This adventure will include: a visit to a local produce market; a boat trip along the beautiful Thu Bon River as you pass under the majestic Cua Dai Bridge. followed by a ride in a water buffalo cart that will take you to the Sabirama Cooking School and restaurant. Upon arrival, you can then unwind by soaking up the joys of a foot, head and shoulder massage.
Then the REAL fun begins, during our cooking class. The menu will include 4 local Vietnamese dishes:
- Mango salad with shrimp & pork
- Rolled wet rice paper with minced pork and vegetables.
- Beef noodle soup - Pho Bo

This cooking tour is different from a cooking class. The tour takes you to the countryside of Hoi an, Cam Thanh village (around 4kms from the center). It combines some small activities like: discovering the local market, boat trip on the river, basket boat sailing, water buffalo cart transfer to the restaurant and on arrival relax with a foot, head, shoulder massage before cooking class commences.
The morning tour begins at 8:00am and returns to your hotel around 1:00pm
The afternoon tour begins at 1:00pm and returns to your hotel around 6pm
This tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off and all activities listed.

Great cookery tour! - Excellent cooking tour.
The day started at 8 am where we were picked up from our hotel and then dropped to the old town markets. We then met with our tour guide Hung, who was so friendly. Hung showed us the delights of the market and then we took a 45 minute boat ride from old town to the coconut village.
We were then transferred on to a basket boat, this was so much fun!
After the basket boat, we were shown to the Sabirama cooking class. We were met by a welcome drink and a wonderful shoulder and foot massage.
After the massage, we moved on to the cooking! We made four dishes and learnt a lot, whilst having fun. It was lovely that we had Hung for the duration of our tour.
We would highly recommend booking the cookery tour, it was easy to book and very good value for money. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly.

Sabirama Cooking Class and Basket Boat ride - My family and i really loved the cooking class.. The fresh flavours were fantastic. A fun afternoon combined with a Basket Boat ride.

Must have a try - Sabirama's cooking tour was an absolute delight! The trip through the market was eye-opening, and the boat ride was serene. The cooking class was hands-on and educational, making Vietnamese cuisine approachable. Tasting our dishes by the river was a memory we'll treasure.

A great cooking class in Hoi An at Sabirama. - Just finished a cooking class with this company and my partner and I had a fabulous time. From walking through the markets checking the produce, then taking a boat ride near where the class was to take plece, to getting in a round boat and then getting to the restaurant the whole experience was magical. The foot massage was something we were not expecting and was delightful.
The acturl cooking class was well presented and we were taught to make several dishes and then sit down to eat our fare. Amazing meal washed down with a couple of iced beers made for a wonderful experience. We stayed after the class and spoke with the owner and the staff over a couple of more cold drinks before saying our farewells.
Overall the half day was well worth the price and recommend it to anyone who wants a great experience.
Unfortunately we were having so much fun we forgot to take any photos.

Amazing Vietnamese Cooking Tour - This was a 5 out of 5 trip! We had such a great time. Everyone was so friendly. The coconut boat trip was so much fun. Then a motorbike to the cooking class. The food we cooked was amazing. We have great recipes and memories to take back to Sydney. I would recommend this to all visitors to Hoi An. Thank you so much Sabirama Cooking Tour!
