Highlights
- Filerimos Cross - We will start with Filerimos, which in addition to the panoramic view of the Aegean Sea, is an important archaeological site. Here once stood the Acropolis of the Ancient Ialyssos with an important temple dedicated to Athena Polias. The hill took its name from a monk who came from Jerusalem in the 13th century bringing with him an icon of the Blessed Virgin painted by the Apostle Luke. Grab some bread from your breakfast table, the peacocks who live there will be happy to get some treat in exchange for the photos.
Admission is free, except if you want to go to the museum, which is optional, you will need to pay the admission fee.
- Valley of the Butterflies - Butterfly Valley not to be missed as well. Every year, at the end of the wet season (late May), thousands of butterflies attracted by the scent of the oriental sweet-gum trees cover the entire landscape. It’s a very unique experience and you should definitely try to see it.
We will stop at one part of the park, where admission is free, and then if you wish to go deeper in the valley (which is optional) you have to pay the admission fee.

We begin with Filerimos, which offers a spectacular view of the Aegean Sea and is a significant archaeological hub.

Next, we’re headed towards Seven Springs – a hidden gem with abundant pine trees and a magnificent stream of clear water.
Then - Lindos! Upon arrival, you’ll get ~1 hour of free time to discover the ancient Acropolis and navigate the labyrinth of meandering lanes.
Finally - Rhodes Old Town, known for its medieval structures, majestic churches, and cozy taverns. You’ll be granted ~1 hour of free time to leisurely explore the prime attractions of the Old City: the Jewish Quarter, Ippokratous Square, the renowned Street of the Knights, the Grand Master Palace, the Archaeological Museum, and the Palace’s Fortifications.

Great discovery of Rhodes - The tour was accepted with only 1 participant: me. Very nice to have been able to visit at my own pace, great photos, seen all the essential attractions of the island. Delighted with the entire organization and contact with the team. THANKS

Great flexible tour- recommend!! - We had a great day with george. He was accommodating and kind. We were able to set our own itinerary. ( no butterflies this time of year thus why pay yo go into butterfly area?) we spent almost 3 hours in Lindos. Skipped old town since we are staying there. This was the most affordable tour after reading all the private tour prices and we didn’t want to be on a giant bus of cruise passengers. There was just one other gal on our tour so we were in a car which made it quick and easy. George even stopped at a small monastery that was not on the tour route. It was amazing. we would book again with this company. The only thing you need to be aware of is their visa machine “wasn’t working” so make sure you bring cash just in case.

Wonderful tour! - An excellent tour to visit the most important places in Rhode. In a limited time you get to know a lot about the island history and culture. Very knowledgable, friendly and helpful guide, modern van with air conditioner, and overall positive atmosphere. Definitelly recommend!

A Top Notch Flexible Tour - The Best of Rhodes & Lindas Full Island Tour (Private) was a great experience. You can follow the itinerary that is slated or is fully customizable. After Linda’s we wanted to see a slice of Rhodes off the beaten path and Alexis was masterful at providing us just that. He was very intent on doing what the group
wanted to do and even a few surprises like transversing a cave (wear shorts) at Seven Springs and a fantastic lunch in nature at a vineyard in the country hills, Ktima Triantafilou.
Can’t thank Half Price enough and especially Alexis for making our tour very memorable!

A day on the ocean waves. - Fantastic day out on a beautiful boat. We booked a day boat trip to Lindos it was magical, The boat , the crew, just everything about the whole day was Brilliant. Our coach driver George was the best! He went above & beyond picking people up and dropping them off. Great guy so pleasant & friendly.
