This is a must tour when visiting Israel. - A Brilliant Life Time Experience. Loved it all - the sights, the hotels, the meals and most importantly Boaz was the best tour guide. So much to see and was educated with so much information. Highly Recommended !!

Definitely worth it! - Despite booking this tour through Viator as “7-Night Israel Highlights and Biblical Tour”, it merges with “Highlights Tour”, organized by CTO. Overall, I found this tour to be a great way to get to know Israel. As it’s only a 7-night tour, time is a constraint as to how much one can see and visit. The tour started in Jerusalem and gradually moved north to Galilee and the Golan Heights before heading west to the coast (Haifa) and south to Tel Aviv. Our guide, Pauli, and the bus driver were both great. Be aware that this tour can be physically demanding as mornings start early and there’s a fair bit of walking under the melting sun. There were also two optional tours we took: i) boat crossing of the Sea of Galilee, and ii) the Dead Sea. In addition to all the amazing historical places we visited, we spent two nights at the beautiful Hagoshrim Kibbutz. It completely changed my perception of a kibbutz. The only negative feedback I have relates to the hotel we stayed at in Jerusalem (Jerusalem Gate Hotel). Our hotel room and bathroom were quite dirty and breakfast was mediocre at best. In all fairness, when we booked the tour we opted for the cheaper room, but I could not imagine it would be this bad. All in all, I highly recommend this tour, but some heads-up regarding the hotel in Jerusalem would have been nice.

Israel tour - We have just finished our tour with CTO , what a wonderful experience, visiting so many historical sites and given such an in depth and comprehensive tour, we were so fortunate to have such a great guide as Yossi, ( he is a walking encyclopaedia ) he has the ability to make you think and question historic events Brilliant! This trip is full on and quite tiring but we could not believe just how much we got to see and learn, we were in a small group of 15 which was perfect and what an amazing group of people who we will remain in touch with. Thank you Yossi!

Heritage of the Holy Land - Booked this tour through Tourradar.com in the UK. It finished today and was absolutely fantastic. There were just 7 of us, us 2 from the Uk and 5 lovely people from Canada. Our tour guide Ronit was excellent and made it an forgettable experience. Our driver Mahmood was also great, a very reliable driver. Can’t recommend this tour highly enough, it covered everywhere you’d want to see if interested in the old and New Testament and also to hear about everyday life in Israel. Will be sad to leave tomorrow.

Wonderful experience in Israel - Thanks to Lorne I gained a wealth of knowledge about Israel, its history and Holy sites. This was a great experience to visit places which I had learnt and heard about but to also be provided the additional explanations by a guide who has a great knowledge of this country and its heritage. I was very glad that I was on this tour with Lorne.

Israel Highlights - I am really glad that we took this tour, it really felt like I experienced Israel 360. I feel really lucky that Lorne was our tour guide, he was awesome from all the points I can think off. His guiding, not theological but rather scientific was most welcomed and appreciated.

A walk through a history documentary - This tour exceeded our expectations, mainly due to our guide Lorne, who offered lots of explanations both on sites and on the bus. I highly recommend the tour and the guide Lorne Newman for those who want to visit these biblical and historic locations and also want to expand their knowledge. It's like walking through a history documentary.

Great tour, just be careful and read... -
Great tour, just be careful and read the entire post. I didnt see the part about Masada and the Dead Sea being extra, and it ended up being 110 that I wasnt planning on spending. I couldve done without Masada, but the Dead Sea was very interesting.

I am so glad that I did this tour. We had Shuki as our tour guide and Muhummad was our bus driver for the first 5 days. Both of them were very good, and Shuki was very knowledgeable. I was in the country a few days before the tour started, so I wasnt able to get a free ride to Jerusalem on the first day. I took the bus between the cities for 16 shekels, around 3-4 at the time, and it dropped me off at the main bus station in Jerusalem which was right below my hotel. All of the sites we went to were even better than I expected, and the only complaint that I had was that we stopped at too many souvenir shops. I think most people wouldve been ok with 2-3 shops, but we stopped everyday, and that got a little old. If this is your first time in Israel, I think this would be a great tour to do.

We worried about getting picked up... -
We worried about getting picked up at the airport in Tel Aviv, but the driver was already waiting as we left security at the airport.
We chose the 4 star hotels and were happy we did. Other folks in our tour group were in 3 star hotels and all were complaining. Do yourself a favor and go 4 star....they're not the Waldorf, but not bad for the money. The Kibbutz hotel is pretty much a pit. Built in 1948 and looks it!
Tour guide, Rafi, was excellent. Knows his stuff. Problem is there is so much to see and learn that you forget half of what he described.
if you're not fit, don't go on this tour! Eight days of getting up at 5:30 to eat breakfast and meet the bus at 8 am then get back to your hotel at 5:30 or 6. Exhausting! On the other hand you get to see an awful lot of Israel that you could never see on your own. We recommend the tour, just be prepared to get a LOT of exercise.
