You had me at wine dog! - Emma and Ruby were fantastic hosts and guides through some Gibbston Valley wineries! It's clear that Emma has long standing relationships with everyone at the vineyards and we reaped the benefits of those relationships. The van was clean and comfortable, we were picked up and dropped off in a timely manner. Lunch at the 2nd (or was it the 3rd? ) stop was delicious, with plenty of options for all palates. The only downside was we didn't get to meet Ruby's best friend at the last stop

Great wine tasting trip! - I booked my tour fairly last minute and Emma was on top of it. I received a warm welcome upon pickup. Our group was fun and 5 were repeat customers! Ruby the wine do was also with us and I absolutely love that Alpine does this as it makes the experience unique. Emma was very organized and fun to spend the day with. She has a good relationship with all of the wineries we went to. The selection of wineries was great as each offered a different kind of experience. The hotel pickup and drop off were nice too. Fantastic day!

A must do wine tour when visiting Queenstown. - A must do when in Queenstown is a visit to a few of the boutique, family owned wineries in the valley. Emma and her sidekick, Ruby (her very cute dog) took us to 4 excellent wineries where we tasted a number of great wines and had a delicious lunch. A very gracious and knowledgeable host. Highly recommended!!!

31st Dec 2023 family tour - Lunch was not included in the cost of the package. The tour was quite rushed as well - granted, it was on new year's eve so the traffic was worse than usual. Visited Gibson Valley Winery, Rockburn, Kinross, and Brennan.

Great vineyards, terrible host - The day started out wonderfully and we visited a couple of vineyards not normally on the wine tour schedule. Ruby the wine dog was lovely as an addition to the group. However the day turned sour after lunchtime when our host became angry at us for not having paid by the time she brought the van around to pick us up. None of us in the group had heard that this was what was happening so we were surprised at the mood change. She also made a scene about the fact we ordered an extra 2 glasses (between 4 people) because the wine we wanted wasn’t being offered as a tasting. Most annoyingly, the host asked us what our favourite wines were as soon as we got on the bus; she then used this as a means of directing every cellar door on what to give us (rather than letting the cellar door staff give us what they wanted to). As wine collectors we were annoyed by a this, as our money was wasted by the tour driver’s opinion dictating what we were able to try. Just let the bloody wine cellar staff tell us what they’re good at! I’ll go back to all the vineyards again but not with this tour group or host. 2/5 mainly for the quality of the vineyards
