Absolutely worth the time and effort - Dendara is a must see - it’s worth the time and money to add it to your program if you have great interest in these monuments. This used to be hard to get to due to convoys and restrictions but easy enough now
Abydos is much further away so if short on time just go to Dendara in my opinion .
