An extraordinary excursion to immerse deep into the spirituality of the Balinese traditions. The blessing and purification ceremony is called Melukat in Bali. Attended by your German-speaking Guide you´ll receive all the important information about the ceremony and an introduction to Hinduism and Brahmin culture on Bali. You will gain an insight into Balinese traditions and daily life, which isn´t usually given to foreigners – memories for a life.
All the necessary offerings and details needed for the ceremony are prepared in advance by the Balinese priest (called Mangku in Bali). The typical offerings for the purification and blessing ceremony are colourful flowers, rice, fragrant incense sticks and holy water. Your guide will explain you all details and steps of the ceremony to get a better understanding.
The ceremony is intended to refresh your body and mind. This is what Balinese people do also from time to time to provide space for new experiences and keep the soul in balance.
