Highlights
  • Puerto Vallarta - This tour can depart from Puerto Vallarta
  • Nuevo Vallarta - This tour can depart from Nuevo Vallarta
  • San Sebastian del Oeste - Marvel at this beautiful remote village and the mountains carpeted in dense tropical vegetation. To arrive in San Sebastian del Oeste is to take a step back in time. This antiquated town dates back to 1605 and was made famous by its plentiful silver mines. Today, with only 600 inhabitants, there are scattered examples of its traditional colonial architecture merging with a colorful village square, quaint cobblestone roads, passing mules and a sleepy way of life far removed from the rest of the world. Your day includes a walking tour of the 18th century church, a silversmith workshop and an organic coffee farm. This expedition is not for the average tourist but for a traveler who seeks to find the real Mexico.

The highlight of our trip! - This tour was the highlight of our Mexico trip! Danny was an excellent, patient and friendly guide who answered our many questions, showed us the sights on the way to the town and shared interesting information about the region, geography, plants etc. The coffee farm was great. Being in San Sebastián was like stepping back in time and the history was fascinating. We enjoyed the generous and tasty lunch. Thank you to Danny as well as his uncle who was an excellent driver.

Trip to San Sebastian de Oeste - From Puerto Vallarta we took an air conditioned van to San Sebastián and with a wonderfully guided ride, learned so much of this beautiful countryside en route. We visited blue agave plantations and a coffee plantation, before arriving in San Sebastián. Our guide, Jesa, was so well-informed, funny, smart and kind. Fabulous!! Our driver, Omar, was courteous and safe.

A history lesson comes to life - I went on a tour through Vallarta adventures to visit the over 400-year-old town of San Sebastian. Fernanda, our tour guide was fantastic and Omar was a wonderful driver. It’s over two hours to get up in the mountains to this town. We sampled some organic locally grown coffee that was a descendent of One of the original families settling the town. Got served a delicious lunch. We went through the museum, which is also run by descendants of the original Spaniard families. Learned so much history about the area. We stopped in agave fields, and told the difference in between the green and the blue agave and did some tequila tasting. It was a very interesting day and I learned a lot.

Perfect - Excellent tour. It’s a whole day affair, you leave at 8:30 and get back at around 3:30. Our tour guide Danny and bus driver Fernando were an excellent duo. Daniel was extremely funny and knowledgeable when it comes to the plant Tequila! I think he said he had a degree in plant biology. The town itself is a rustic charm, and you feel transported back into the 1800s. Really nice. Tequila tasting was good and they had fair prices when it came to purchasing. Highly recommend this trip was literally perfect

A blast into the past of Mexico! - Fantastic tour and transport bus with good guides. A great trip into the history of the town and Mexican culture. Breakfast stop was amazing on the way there with great coffee and fresh buns. Coffee plantation tour just before a delicious lunch which was hosted in the town We topped it off with a trip to a tequila distiller and grower on the way back. Great info on the various tequilas and other drinks made from the Agave plant. Highly recommend this historic tour.
