Fantastic Tour of Pretoria - Thabang is an excellent tour guide. He explained the history and importance of Pretoria, while we were visiting the sights in the city. I also learnt a lot about life in South Africa today. Highly recommended.

Engaging & full of information - We booked this tour wanting to understand some of the history of what we were going to see (Voortrekker Monument, Paul Kruger's house, Union Buildings, etc). Our guide Stephen was very pleasant, was very informative & supplemented what he was telling us with other little tidbits of information & anecdotes which made what we were looking at come to life. He was also happy to answer any questions and kept us on our toes, asking us did we know the answer to what he was going to tell us (ie 169 steps to the top of the Voortrekker monument) which was engaging. After he told us what he needed to, he allowed us to explore for a bit & also took several pictures for us. We were lucky in that it was just 2 of us on the tour but so glad we had Stephen guiding us around & would recommend this tour (and Stephen) to any friends ever visiting.

This tour was a... - This tour was a disappointment from the beginning. I was to be picked up at noon and messaged the tour agent to make sure they were coming and got no reply. After fifteen minutes I messaged them again and still got no reply. I then called them and the person who answered said there would be someone there to pick me up. Over an hour went by before someone came and then it was almost two hours after the original pick up time. Apparently he had just been called to come. We did see the monument (Which most areas were closed to the public that day) and walked around the Nelson Mandela statue but when when we got to the Kruger museum it was already closed for the day as we were so late. None of the other spots that are mentioned on the website were offered for me to go see. For me it was a very wasteful day and very poor value for the price I paid for the tour.
