The art of ceramics gives you an incredible freedom with such a malleable material as clay, possibilities of countless forms, and most importantly a peace and a calm… like meditation. Even a beginner’s, the will enjoy the process of creation. Embrace your imaginative prowess through ceramic art! Working with clay provides a grounding, soothing experience whilst simultaneously producing practical or ornamental ceramics. With the training received in the workshop, you’ll be empowered to craft any form and shape. This course will teach you three diverse methods of ceramics; two of them being hand sculpting and one using a pottery wheel. Supplies including clay, tools, paints, and kiln use for your project are complimentary. The process from clay to glazed product takes 15 days, unfortunately, we are unable to ship ceramics. However, your masterpieces will be finished nonetheless and ready for pickup after the 15-day period. I comprehend that this timeline might not be convenient for everyone, hence I present the occasion for you to gain a unique experience and knowledge of methods that can be utilized to recreate your work at any time. This acquired wisdom is everlasting! Some guests have contemplated packaging the unfired ceramics to finish them in a separate workshop.

Fantastic afternoon in Paros - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic few hours learning how to use clay to mould mugs, pots etc. Our teacher was friendly, funny, and charismatic and clearly has a genuine passion for clay making which came across in this session. A particular highlight was learning how to use the wheel which was so much fun! Highly recommend this for any trip to Paros.

Amazing, relaxing experience ! - We had such a lovely time as first timers !
Our host was so friendly and inviting that made 3 hours go really fast. A very relaxing experience also. Be prepared you don’t get to take the pieces you make home but still worthwhile to see what you learn come to life

A MUST Visit - This was by far the highlight of my Greece trip. It was essentially a private pottery class, as it was only my friend and I and the host, which made for a very personable experience. The host, Sotiria, was so kind, interesting, and inspiring. It was delightful seeing how happy and proud she was of her pottery and her love for the art was radiant. She taught us the basics of hand pottery, then let us have some fun on the wheel. She gave us fresh cake and coffee upon arrival, then homemade fava and ouzo to snack on towards the end of our visit. This is a MUST for your trip to Paros!

Don’t question it, just go!!!! - I cannot say enough great things about my experience here! Sotiria and her partner Vasilis are both absolutely beautiful souls that will instantly have you feeling at home! The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly and I never felt pressured or stressed about being brand new at pottery. She is very encouraging and helpful and I now have a new appreciation and interest in pottery making! If you are looking for an experience that is not only fun and unique, but will also leave you feeling like you got a soul hug, book this now!!! I will certainly be planning to come back to visit both Sotiria and Vasilis on my next trip to Paros!

Ceramic, immerse yourself in a wonderful handicraft - To work with Sotira was a very good experience for me. She is such a lovely person and her teachings skills are fabulous.
I love the studio and the garden you can work in. I had so many good and peaceful moments there. To work with clay is a wonderful hand and art craft. I can highly recommend to everyone to try it once.
And Sotira is the best teacher to bring you closer with this art.
