Explore the town’s Western sector. You will come across Marina Gate, Basilica, Forum, baths, Lupanar (prostitution house), bakery, house of Faun, Termopolium, main thoroughfare, Plaster Casts of the corpses, and Theaters.
The tour is offered in five languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, and German, commencing at Pompeii Ruins’ principal entry point, known as Porta Marina Superiore.
- Tour will be available all year around with rain or shine
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Wear comfortable shoes, sunglasses and sunscreen in the summer.

Great Tour - Our tour guide was fantastic and educated the group on so much history, not only about the Romans in the city, but about the natives that were there first. My friend and I were TWO hours late because we could not find the right train in Naples, and they let us reschedule and join a later group with absolutely no issue. We were so pleasantly surprised!

Nice tour! Definitely recommend doing a tour! - Had to concentrate hard on her English, but it was so great to hear the stories of Pompei with her Italian accent. We feel like there was so much more to see, but we got to see a lot in the 2 hours we had.

Great investment of 2 hours being guided. - Our guide was very knowledgeable and clearly communicated to the small group. After each stop she would ask if we had any questions. Great 2 hour guided tour and highly recommended. Take the early tour to beat the crowds. We stayed for another 3 hours after our guided tour as the ice is large and still not see everything. You need to have good mobility.

Great tour, very knowledgeable and gave us the most interesting details! - Benedict was an amazing guide at Pompeii. We all enjoyed the tour (parents and kids, 18 and 21)- he highlighted the most important and interesting details without being to lengthy or staying in 1 place for too long. He also gave everyone time to take pictures. He moved us along and kept the flow of the tour going without getting us mixed up with the heavy crowds. He was really good and knowledgeable, highly recommend!

Good tour, missed out seeing 3 major parts of Pompeii city - Guide was very knowledgeable, however took too much time early on the tour and ran out of time to show us some interesting parts of Pompeii.

Pompeii was unbelievable.... - Pompeii was unbelievable. The Information was good, only issue was the tour said that we would be guided by an archeologist. We had a company tour guide. When I overheard another going into to detail about the art and its history, I asked him about what is symbolize and he said "it was a fresco" So his true knowledge did not exist. I really was looking forward to understanding the site and excavation, but the guide tour stories.

Horrible Experience!!! Get tickets and guide at venue - We were a bit late to the meeting spot and the tour had already started. When we arrived outside the gate a women met us and provided us with a map of Pompei and said we could easily meet up with our tour guide. We spent the next hour trying to find our guide. I then went back to the young lady and asked if she could at least help us with our tour guides approximate location. She was absolutely NO help. It was exceptionally frustrating and family was very upset with her not even trying to help. It was a total disaster and stressful. We ended up getting an audio set at the visitors counter. The experience was less than ideal. I would like a complete refund.
I would STRONGLY recommend that you get your tour upon arriving at the venue as there are many companies there willing to earn your business.
