Highlights
  • Pisac Market - At 07:30 am, you will enjoy a pick-up in private transportation from your hotel to start the trip to the Sacred Valley of the Incas and enjoy a guided tour of the archaeological sites:

Here we find the market of Pisac, famous for its handicrafts, ceramics and textiles. Another attraction are the ruins of Pisac, considered one of the most beautiful places in the city of Cusco. There is a cemetery, beautiful palaces and a hydraulic platform with fine cut stones.

  • Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - One of the last living Inca towns located on the opposite Pisac end, its streets maintain the same line to the Inca, the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, religious and agricultural center here we will find the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana and bathrooms princess.
  • Moray - URUBAMBA.- This is the place where we have lunch.

MORAY.- One of the most spectacular views where there are circular terraces of different sizes. These are experimental agricultural terraces and places of concentration of female energy, which is considered as a magnetic center of the Pachamama.

  • Salt Mine of Maras - SALT MINES OF MARAS.- Located northwest of the town of Maras, known by some as “Salt Mines”, they are constituted by about 3,000 small wells. The salt is obtained from pre-Hispanic times through a system of sun-dried salt water from an underground stream. Once the water evaporated, the salt is ready for sale.
  • Chinchero - CHINCHERO.- In this place you will find the archaeological of the “Royal Hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui”, it is like a beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations, its greatest asset. However, it is its Sunday market, originally dedicated to the exchange of agricultural products between the villagers of the valley and the high end. Currently, the market is a spectacle of colour and movement that causes the fascination of tourists with its range of handicrafts and textiles made of pure pre-Columbian style.

Sacred Valley, Morley, Sallneras and Manchu Picchu - We did a five days tour, Rosa was very helpful helping us, sheet us know when the driver will pick us up. We have trouble with our train and was late 5 hours, she make sure the driver will wait for us at the stop even it was late. After the tour we are flying to other city, and I was able to ask Rosa arrange ride for us in a very good price. She was very helpful and was always there for us.

Great tour - The tour description states that lunch was included, but that was not the case. We were taken to the restaurant of the guide’s choice only to find out that we had to pay and also that the restaurant wouldn’t take credit. We scraped together enough cash so that we could eat. The food and service there was good. The guide has some difficulty understanding English, more than we are used to with a private guide, so he couldn’t understand all of our questions. But otherwise he had much knowledge to share of the Sacred Valley when he was describing each spot, and overall I enjoyed the tour.
