Climb the Gros Piton
You woke up looking at them and now its time to take the challenge and climb to the top. Leave in the morning and be guided up the south side of the mountain and, after a brisk hike, arrive at the top to get a beautiful view of the island from its second highest peak.
Have a great burger at Anse Mamin
Having just come back from an adventurous morning, it's time to refuel. Head over to Anse Mamin, the second private beach at Anse Chastanet Resort for a grilled burger with hand made buns that make it taste fantastic. The fact that this serene beach often has very few people makes it a great little hideaway for lunch. If you still have energy, head into the jungle to find a 17th Century French plantation with hiking and biking trails meandering through the ruins. Grab a bike or a guide and go for a wander around the beautiful scenery.

Have a mud bath at the volcano
Relaxing, refreshing, great for your skin. Head to the sulphur springs, a short drive away, for a dip in the sulphur water running fresh from the dormant volcano. The volcanic mud is then applied to you by a massage therapist who gently rubs it on before leaving you to soak and unwind. The locals call this place the fountain of youth because everyone leaves looking and feeling 10 years younger.
Massage/Body Wrap at Kai Belte Spa
If you are still feeling a little sore from your hike then head over to the spa and pick from a wide range of treatments they have available. My personal favorites are the traditional swedish massage, but I've heard the ayurvedic treatment is truly amazing, and the chocolate wrap is unreal. You literally are coated from head to toe in fresh chocolate grown on the Anse Chastanet estate. It is great for your skin and relaxes you like nothing else.

Tour Anse Chastanet's Organic Farm
You've eaten the amazing food and had the estate made chocolate rubbed all over your body and now its time to see where it all comes from. All the vegetables and chocolate at Anse Chastanet is grown on their own organic farm a few miles from the hotel. Take a tour with one of the chefs and even have a cooking class right in the middle of the organic farm. Not only is it amazing but it is also one of a handful of companies in the world that grows their own beans and turns them into chocolate right on the spot, everyone else ships the beans overseas to be processed. Truly remarkable.
Have a cocktail and watch the sunset
Long day of activity followed by relaxation. Head to the beach and grab a cocktail to just lie on a beach chair and watch the sun set. As romantic as it gets.

Apsara Dinner on the Beach
Apsara is Anse Chastanet's Indian Fusion restaurant which is situated right on the beach so head straight from your cocktail spot to the restaurant to finish off the day with a romantic beach side dinner.
