The Everyday Adventurer's Perfect Day In Dallas
Lindsey Chandler

Katy Trail
Kick start your morning by taking a walk or run on the Katy Trail. I would recommend getting on the trail around Lemmon and heading north toward Knox-Henderson.
Oddfellows
Head over to the Dallas Bishop Arts District and have breakfast at Oddfellows, for some of the best coffee around. Don't miss the Red Velvet Pancakes.
Bishop Arts District
Spend an hour wandering around the Bishop Arts District after brunch and pick up some unique Dallas finds.
Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
Community Beer Company
If you're visiting Dallas on a Saturday, head over to the Design District and spend the afternoon at Community. Take a tour of the brewery, listen to live music and enjoy a snack from one of the food trucks parked outside.
Sissy's Southern Kitchen & Bar
If you want some down home Southern cookin', Sissy's is the place to indulge. My favorites are the fried chicken or red fish. Be sure to order some of the custom cocktails from the bar, too.
The Dram
Walk across the street from Sissy's after dinner and have a few drinks at The Dram. This lounge always has a fun crowd and good music.
I would stay at: The Joule
Known for one of the best pools in Dallas, I would pick The Joule as my #1 place to stay.
