There are many restaurants in New York City but only a handful of places have the view of the Central Park and the high quality service for both formal and informal breakfast.

After an awesome breakfast at Asiate, you probably need to stroll around a little in the central park which is literally around the corner from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. After a decent amount of walking a good pint or a snack at the Loeb Boathouse in Central park is a good way to rest a little. Not to mention you could choose boat around after or just watch around inside of the Loeb.

If you have visited MOMA and the Metropolitan museum too often and want to try elsewhere, The Frick collection offers a great array of some of the greatest eighteenth-century European paintings and sculptures. Most importantly the place is small and tranquil so it is the place for me to really connect with the arts.

Guggenheim might be one of the most visitor friendly museum in New York City because of its viewability of the exhibitions. A giant shell like layout of the museum which is designed by Frank Lloyd Wright allows visitors to take the elevator to the top of the museum and simply walk down and on the way you will find pretty much all the works that you need to see in the museum in circular motion. Remember Top-Down approach?

There are Lobster rolls and there is a Luke's Lobster Roll. Simple, quick and very tasty.

So you just walked all the way from West side to the east side. To reward yourself for all the walking you've done, Lady M Confections on upper east side is a great place for their cakes and confectioneries (but also their coffee and tea selections are equally pleasing). Yes, it might not be a healthiest way to start your afternoon but you've got to try their Green Tea Mille Crepes! Totally worth it!

If you have a loved one with you or elsewhere, consider getting some macaroons from Maison Laduree which has some traditionally baked macaroons that can't go wrong!

The Morgan Library is a little hidden gen in the city which often is not too crowded most of the time. It was founded to house the private library of J. P. Morgan in 1906 and has the remains of his collections of art and literetures.

If you are looking for a place for a vintage specs and sunglasses, Fabulous Fanny's is the place to get your stuff from.

Weather permitting of course, Washington Square Park is a great place to contemplate over a cup of coffee or tea. Often there are free music and performances. (A little dog park too)

Casa mono offers tapas style French influenced Spanish food! You just can't go wrong here. Extensive Spanish wine list (arguably the best Spanish Wine list in NYC) Try the skirt steak and Sweetbread.

Most likely you would have to wait a while if you haven't made the reservation before going to this place. Very small and quite reasonably priced dessert place where they prepare all you've ordered in front of you. Chika name of the Japanese head chef and the owner.

There are many Jazz clubs in New York City but Dizzy's Club offers concerts of wide range of world class Jazz musicians. Great atmosphere and good food and wine! You just can't go wrong with Dizzy's.

After a little Jazz you probably need to carry on your groove and have more music at the Le Bain. May be you could skip the swimming pool but defiantly the view of the skyline from the Le Bain can not be missed!

There are a couple of reasons that I recommend my friends and family to stay at the Standard Hotel. It's riverside location offers a spectacular view and accessibility of some of the trendiest clubs and bars around the corner. You could just walk to the hotel after your festive NYC parties around corner clubs and lounges.
