Took my family on the night tour for our short stay in DC and had a lovely time! Highly recommend. Dave was a really fun and engaging tour guide (corny jokes included). He kept the whole night really fun and had lots of interesting tidbits about DC and its history. Several monuments to see so the tour makes the time go very quickly. There is a fair amount of walking but that is because everything in DC involves walking - don't let that deter you. You need to get up close to each monument and really immerse yourself in them to get the full experience. I wish we got to go into the Jefferson Monument (but there was construction) and also missed the FDR because of construction and lighting issues (a city issue). Alberto was also a great driver, he even dropped us off at our hotel across the river which was not pre-coordinated so we greatly appreciated that!

Just as stated above. Thanks!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the sites. He was optimistic , fun , and energetic. It was a cold night, but had a great time.

We had a beautiful evening touring the monuments. The evening light made it feel extremely intimate. I highly encourage this tour

Pleasant guide, informative, and very kind. Driver also had skills. Will highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the tour ! Very informative. The tour allowed us to not only see the sites, but gave us time to walk around and take photos !

It was a nice outing.

This was the best tour. The tour guide , we could understand. very informative. I would do again. We have been on so many tour buses, tour guides, etc and one of them could you understand. The mic was messed , the person wasn't a very good speaker, they could not speak English very well. .But this tour was the BEST EVER.

Dave was a knowledgeable and fun guide - seeing the monuments lit at night was absolutely beautiful, we had only seen them during the day on other trips. Our 12-year-old grandson really enjoyed the entire tour. We especially appreciated being dropped off at our hotel after the tour, instead of having to do the 30-minute walk there in the cold night! Thank you DC The Lights! Tour!

I was told my tour group consists of 7 people when I got there there were 34 people and almost no room in the bus. The tour guide did not show up so we had to pick him up. Which was strange as he didn’t even recognized the driver and had no idea we were his bus. On the tour note- we took way to long to linger at every memorial. Maybe some people like it- I don’t! Maybe you should have two busses one for people like myself and the other for slow pokes who wants to spend hours staring at the MLK monument.

Tour guide was awesome and learned so much!
- Tom
We got to see everything we wanted to see in one tour and our guide was excellent

- Jennifer
The bus was comfortable and the tour guide was very informative, sharing details about sites that we never would have known otherwise.
- Susan
I loved Larry’s energetic tour experience! Knowledgeable; funny and he loves his city! Getting out of the bus and experiencing each memorial was informative, personal and made the tour memorable. The views at dusk and after dark were beautiful and meaningful.

Larry the tour guide was the Best !

The van was freezing and several requests to please turn the blowing air conditioning down by several people were ignored. I was very disappoi ted with White House portion. We were taken to the back where they are building a fence and had no good view. The next am when I walked over I cou.d see the grounds where the helicopter lands and the beutiful balcony view. This is what one sees in pictures. So many sites were total darkness and you had a hard time seeing anything. T

Pleasant folks and informative Thank you

The tour could not have been better. Our guide the night of 7/19 was fantastic and Alberto was as good as he could be. Larry and Barbara Lock

Dave did a great job of telling the history of all the different places we went to. Even with the weather being very hot for an evening tour.
- Christine
Customer service excellant
- Karen
Tour guides were great. Friendly, warm, and welcoming. Very knowledgeable bon the land marks we viewed.
- Gregory
Nice trip but the service was lacking. The busboy seemed the only one showing any motivation. DJ was good. Food was good as well and there was plenty. Smooth ride so no problems there.
- Navdeep
Both the guide and driver (John and Alberto) were excellent! Very enjoyable.
- Steve
Nice tour, but one suggestion to make it much better. Allow more time at the Jefferson Memorial, we barely stopped, only saw the back side from a distance. The stop at the Martin L. King monument was way too long, we had time to read every inscription twice, walk across the street to the bathroom, and still take a long break. Take some allotted time from the MLK monument and give it to Thomas Jefferson, you know, the guy who wrote the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, 3rd President, and doubled the size of the country with the Louisiana Purchase, etc.
- Mike
Price over 33% more than competition monuments by moonlight tour.
- Judith
As usual, the tour was very good and interesting. Our guide, Dave, especially related to my grandson Fynn and Fynn rates the experience as the #1 best thing he did on our visit to Washington DC! We were all exhausted by the time we got back to our hotel and ended up just barely catching the last train out to Woodley Place!
- Audra
I loved the history lessons! Dave was very nice and enthusiastic. The other tourists were nice as well.
