Great walking tour! - Finding tours when travelling solo in Cyprus has been a bit of a challenge (unless I want to pay a full group fee) but Franz took me on a solo (or in this case a private) tour around the old town of Nicosia. He is very knowledgeable and well connected and knows the city and its history well. As a surprise bonus I got to also see a dancing dervish performance and that was the cherry on top! Thanks Franz! I will definitely get in touch when planning any future Cyprus excursions.

Educational tour in a cozy atmosphere - An excellent tour through the northern part of Old Nicosia with a lot of historical and cultural background knowledge. Not strictly didactic, but easy to digest and easy going. The two hours went by far too quickly. It was very pleasant and in a friendly atmosphere; You would have wanted to add another two hours! Excellent way to see the city - Our guide Nelin was excellent. She explained the history of the divided city and country very clearly. This was an excellent way to see the north side of the city and to hear stories from someone who grew up there and really knew the place was amazing Absolutely recommend this tour

Enjoyable and educational overview of Northern Nicosia - Engaging, knowledgeable guide took us to interesting neighborhoods and sites, explaining the architecture and history along the way. We couldn't have done anything like this ourselves. Highly recommended.

Historic Lefkosa brought alive - Nelin was a great guide- very informative and personable. Her being a native Cypriot, she was able to bring Lefkosa alive for us. Highly recommended

We loved our tour guide... - We loved our tour guide and she spoke very good English. We learned a lot about the different types of architecture from the different periods of the life of Nicosia or Lefkosa. It was great walking in the market and also learning about the caravanserai, an ancient roadside inn where travelers could rest and recover from the day's journey. We tried Turkish coffee and a tea with cinnamon and clove made by the owners of the cafe in the caravanserai. We shared the tour with 3 siblings from Germany. It was quite a pleasant day. We clocked about 12,000 steps on our watches with pedometers.

Nicosia North on foot - Very interesting tour, competent guide. City history beyond the main sights. Highly recommended

A must - Thank you for the very interesting and informative tour. We came with little knowledge of the city and learned how rich the historical and architectural history of the city of Nicosia is. A must for every visitor to the city.

A fantastic tour in North Nicosia!!! - It was a very pleasant and educational city walk in North Nicosia. The history, the split in the middle of Nicosia, What the Covid has done to people and the changes this has brought about. The guide Franz is highly recommended. He explains in a simple way how the situation in North and South Cyprus arose. Highly recommended as a tourist. (Only you will get lost).
