Highlights
- Craters Silvestri of Mount Etna - Traveling by car to Etna we will pass through several unknown villages where we could admire the customs, food and untouched nature of several local people who have been living in these places for several generations.
Arrived at an altitude of 6000 feat we will visit the southern part of the Silvestri Craters starting a fluctuating path with a panoramic view of the Ionian coast.
It is possible to take the cable car and the bus of the same company to reach an altitude of 9500 ft. Tickets not included.
It is also possible on request make a stop in a local winery, have a winetasting with a light lunch (to be paid extra).
- Giardini Naxos - A brief stop in Giardini Naxos, precisely in Naxos Schisò, the first Greek colony in Sicily, where we could admire the seafront and the promontory of Taormina and Castelmola.

Taormina - We continue our journey towards Taormina, making a stop at Piazza Belvedere to admire the splendid Isola Bella Nature Reserve.
Afterwards you will have 1 hour and a half to devote to visiting the historic center of Taormina, the Greek Theater, the main street Corso Umberto adorned with churches, shops and squares with panoramic views.
At the end back to the place you requested.

Book the trip - We have done private tours the past ten days. Danilo was the first person that actually listened to us and made the day exactly what we asked for. He took us to places just like we asked and we didn’t feel like he was getting a kick back at every stop like we did with others. Can not say enough positive things about Danilo. This was our best day by far! Book with him you will not be disappointed.

Danilo is a professional driver. He is very well informed about Sicily and familiar with historical aspects as well. - We had a wonderful tour with Danilo, to Mt. Etna and surrounding cities. He is a professional driver and very knowledgeable about Mt Etna and surrounding cities. We also went to The Gambino winery and had an excellent tasting and selection of wines.
We would definitely recommend Danilo for any of your touring or pick up needs. He is prompt and reliable.

Good tour with a different driver - We were on a small private tour. We saw all that we expected Mont Etna and Taormina. Our driver was the owner of the tour agency. Unfortunately he talked very little and spent most of the time on his phone, sending and receiving texts while driving. We were not confortable with his driving. He didn’t understand English very well and gave minimal information about the area.
