Great walking tour of central Newcastle - Our guide Alex was excellent. She was very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. We enjoyed hearing some of teh history of teh local buildings and the city of Newcastle. We visited three interesting pubs/restaurants with food provided at two of them as part of the tour. The food at our last stop, the Spanish restaurant, Bocado, was excellent. Highly recommend this tour.

Great despite the wind! - I enjoyed the history section of the tour particularly the architectural and urban renewal facts and the indigenous history. The windy weather did push us indoors a little more than expected. I think we may have walked a little more if it had been warmer. Becky was very knowledgeable and it was a great group of people to share a drink and chat with.

“Newcastle Afoot”…..excellent! - My wife and I have been in the Newy area all our lives and yet Becky was still able to tell us about interesting local history we knew little about including important indigenous history. Fantastic for locals and visitors alike. Combine that with walking visits to really cool bars with lovely food and enthusiastic owners happy to welcome you. The old heart of Newy is looking and feeling great and Becky has tapped into that nicely. Well worth it.

Friends enjoying Newcastle! - What a great afternoon spent with a pleasant knowledgable guide and great group of friends. Although I have lived in Newcastle my whole life and had many walks around the city Becky taught us that there is still so much history to learn. She was good fun and an expert at pointing out the citys history, heritage as well as modern culture. We visited a variety of venues which were all interesting in their own way and food choices were excellent. We will look into doing another tour with Becky sometime soon.

Happy times afoot in Newcastle! - Becky did a great job taking us to delightful venues, and recounting some of the fascinating back stories about this wonderful harbour city. She was an engaging and knowledgeable guide, and the bars had a terrific range of cocktails for us to sample, along with tasty treats to chew on.
