Amazing Israel tour with Meni T!! - I had a family trip to Israel for two weeks and had Mr.Meni T from Rent-a-Guide. He was the most knowledgeable guide I had ever met in my life. Not only did he explain to us about Judaism, culture and Israeli customs, but he also told us about geographic characters, tribes and Israeli people's life. Whatever I see through the window on a bus, Mr. Meni starts to talk outside views. It was non-stop knowledgeable explanations from him. By his time-organized guide, we were able to avoid all busy traffic and had enough shade on each location. I sincerely thank Mr. Meni for our safe amazing trip.

Spiritually Amazing! - I have never visited Israel before, but came recently as a part of a conference. Since I had some free time, I booked this tour which was recommended by the conference organizers. My tour guide was Daniel and he was a humble yet wonderfully knowledgeable guide, providing in-depth historical and Biblical (both Old and New Testament) context to the places we were visiting. Not only that, he has been doing this a while, so he knows the staff at each site almost like family. We felt like part of family as a part of the tour! Note that it is a long tour because of the distance to drive and traffic. I departed from my pickup at 6 AM and returned at 7 PM - a testament to Daniel's driving / endurance. Also note that you may possibly transfer from your pickup shuttle to the tour shuttle. With that, sites visited included Nazareth - The Basilica of the Annunciation - Saint Joseph's Church - (Time Permitting) Synagogue Church - Time for souvenir purchasing The Yardenit Cana - (Time Permitting) the Church where Jesus turned water into wine Tabgha - The Church where Jesus fed the 5,000 with five loaves and two fishes Capernaum - The Church built upon the home of Simon Peter - The Sea of Galilee Magdal - Lunch with 'St. Peter's Fish'

Rent-a-guide Israel with guide Hava Dorany - Rent-a-Guide Israel was a wonderful experience. We took two tours and it couldn’t have been better. The transfers were comfortable, the itineraries were wonderful, and the tour guide was exceptional. If you are able to, request Hava Dorany as your tour guide. Not only does she know all of the history and tradition of Israel, but you will also have a friend for life. Hava was amazing.

Fantastic tour of Israel with Rent-a-Guide Nedal Abdo leading us - We had a fantastic 8 days in Israel seeing all the biblical sights and historical locations. We had the best guide Nedal Abdo who was very knowledgeable and attentive to all our needs. He had a real care for our welfare and ensured we were kept safe throughout our visit. This trip was really worthwhile and I would recommend it to anyone. If you want a first rate guide then ask for Nedal Abdo and you will not go wrong.

Great tour to start our trip! - It was our first tour booked on day one of our trip to Israel! The hotel pick up was very prompt, although it gives a time window of 0720-0750, they were at the lobby right on time at 0720. Our tour guide was Ossey and driver was Moses; great job from both!!! Ossey shared information on the drive up to the north, pointing out areas of interest along the way. He spoke not just about historical points, but daily modern life in Israel. I did not like that the first stop was shopping and were given only a short time. Medium pressure sales but authentic olive wood is not cheap! I selected a beautiful nativity (without checking the price) that was, to my surprise, $249! Needless to say, I walked out without it... After the shop, a short walk uphill to the first stop of many planned for the day. It was a beautiful day, great weather, nice group luncheon, great small group of tourists. We met people from the UK, Germany and USA. The return drop off to our hotel also made it worth the the price! Note: Make sure you have comfortable walking shoes for this one; moderate walking, some uphill, but lots of ground level changes throughout the tour. Also, it was a bit warm during our tour with direct sun exposure, so a big rim hat and sunscreen is a must.

Could have been good - This could be a great trip, but ours was less good because of our guide. He spendmore time outside places talking than the fee minutes we were allowed inside. One of our party was quite garrulous and kept talking about quite irrelevant things, and then our guide would spend ages talking to him rather than dealing with the rest of the group who got increasingly restive. It started badly when we arrived in Nazareth and were deposited in a shop for 40 minutes. Yes, it was good to be able to buy a coffee and use the toilets, but 40 minutes? For lunch we were deposited at a restaurant with no alternative nearby - for a very mediocre and lukewarm meal. Sorry about this, but it was annoying

More about giving to local economy rather than learn - The guide never finished her thoughts , the ax in the van did not cool off the van. The driver complained of the vans transmission problems. Your was very rushed only allowed to use restroom 1 time. Then brought to a restaurant for lunch around 2 pm and rushed to leave. The buffet was very expensive and the drinks were not included. The guide told us to tip these people. But I get it was very poor of this company. Went on a tour with a competitor a few days back and had such a better experience and atmosphere. Rent a guide in Israel is all about taking tourist money , rushing and making more by patronizing businesses who give money or things back to rent a guide
