- Marrakech - Either Hassan or Salah will be there to collect you from your accommodation or rendezvous with you at Hotel Ali by 9:30 a.m. (situated on Jamaa el Fna square). Commencing from this point, we’ll embark on a 1.5-hour drive towards the Atlas Mountains. Our initial visit will be to the charming village of Azrou. Following that, we’ll proceed to a female-run argan oil cooperative, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample fresh bread and oil accompanied by traditional Moroccan tea.
The subsequent destination is the vibrant and scenic Imlil valley. This delightful area features a swiftly flowing river, abundant nut trees, and numerous authentic Berber villages scattered throughout. We’ll then take a leisurely hike to my family’s home, where you can savor the breathtaking panorama from our rooftop terrace and indulge in a sumptuous Berber meal lovingly prepared by our mother.
Post-lunch, our trek continues on a gentle path offering spectacular views of the entire valley. Our chauffeur will be on standby to escort us back to Marrakech, with an expected return to the city around 6 p.m.
- High Atlas Mountains - The guided excursions on Saturdays and Tuesdays are further enhanced by a stop at a local Berber farmer’s market. We also make a detour to visit Richard Branson’s Kasbah.

Note 2: The total walking time is 2 hours, however, transportation is available for those who prefer not to walk

Touring Morocco’s Atlas Mountains without a guide could result in a missed opportunity to experience Berber culture and breathtaking viewpoints. However, many group excursions adhere to strict schedules that leave little room for impromptu activities. This exclusive tour addresses these concerns by providing a local guide who handles logistics and facilitates engagement with Berber inhabitants, as well as offering the option to customize your schedule. A traditional lunch with a local family in the Atlas Mountains is also included.
