  • Castel Nuovo - Maschio Angioino - You will admire the exterior of a majestic castle that overlooks the port of Naples on one side and on the other looms over one of the most famous squares in Naples.
The construction of its ancient nucleus - today partially re-emerged following restoration and archaeological exploration - is due to the initiative of Charles I of Anjou, who in 1266, defeating the Swabians, ascended the throne of Sicily and established the transfer of the capital from Palermo to the Neapolitan city.
  • Galleria Borbonica - At the end of the walking tour you will begin your tour in the subsoil of Naples, you will discover the secrets that are hidden in the ancient Bourbon Gallery wanted by Ferdinand II of Bourbon in order to create a military path that would allow the troops to reach the Royal Palace in a short time time.
The Bourbon Gallery is a long underground tunnel built in the mid-19th century by Ferdinand II of Bourbon and is considered the pride of underground Bourbon civil engineering. Rediscovered in 2005, the gallery offers the public a surprising itinerary in the subsoil and in the history of the Neapolitan city. Martina, the tour guide, made this tour unforgettable!! - Our tour guide, Martina, was incredible. Very knowledgeable, extremely kind, and alert in the tunnels as she navigated us. Martina was happy to answer any questions the group had. The tunnels are quite the sight! I would definitely recommend this trip!

Don’t miss - An outing not to be missed. We went on our guided tour of the Bourbon Tunnel not knowing what to expect. After getting down the stairs (claustrophobics beware) I could breathe again but if I could do it, most people should be able to (it is steep, tight and narrow) but focus on something else because it is worth it. Our guide David was wonderful. Knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour, he made the story of the tunnel come alive. I have been thinking about what he described to us ever since as he helped us travel back in time to something our generation knows nothing about. Almost to much emotion to take in but so worth it. Bravo to the whole team that does the care and storytelling to keep history alive.

A very interesting & insightful tour - This tour had been recommended to me & I am so glad we managed to go as the tours are only on Friday to Sunday at certain times so you do need to book. Our guide was knowledgeable, with interesting stories to tell & engaged with all age groups. It's amazing the different uses of the tunnels over the years from Royal escape route to illegal tip. I was especially interested in the stories from WW2 & the fact these had been gathered from people's personal experiences of life in the tunnels as air raid shelters. I was surprised to hear that the tunnels are managed & are being excavated by volunteers. If I lived in Naples I'd love to have signed up to join this amazing group.

Naples underground is better then above ground! - Best experience in Naples, we took an English tour with Sabrina, and it was really funny! Also, it is clear she is not a tour guide, but someone with deep interest in the history, which makes the tour amazing. Recommend 100%.
