Two unforgettable wine tours... - While visiting Melbourne over five days in Mar '24, we signed up for both Vinetrekker's i) Mornington Peninsula and ii) Macedon Ranges tours. Both were most enjoyable and scenic, albeit fairly different in terms of geography and hence vista, and therefore completed each other, as they allowed us to better appreciate the nuances of the same varietals being grown and vinified in different regions (i.e. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir). On both days, Paul was masterful at sharing extensive history and knowledge, while managing the timeline (on aggregate, twelve wineries in 20 hours, including the two return - and very comfortable - rides to and from Melbourne) in an impressively pleasant and smooth manner. All wineries visited provided a warm welcome, with quality tastings, and beautifully serene environments, which all made for great memories. Once again, a big thank you to Vinetrekker and Paul.

A Superb Day on The Mornington Peninsula. - This tour exceeded expectations. The trip out to The Peninsula was very enlightening giving guests a comprehensive view of life outside the city. Our driver, Garth, imparted a wealth of knowledge. The wineries visited were the foundations of the industry. Family owned, family friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The wines tasted were diverse and delicious, every palate catered for. Our stop for lunch at Merrick General Store was superb with a menu to satisfy all tastes. Garth is a very professional tour operator with ability to make every guest feel special. Thank you Garth.

Mornington Peninsula Wine Tour was Exceptional! - We are so happy that we booked with Vinetrekker for our Mornington Peninsula wine tour. Cam, our very knowledgeable guide, could not have been more courteous, pleasant, and accommodating. There were six of us on the tour in a comfortable white van. We visited cellar doors at Yabby Lake, Crittenden Estate, and Quealy, before stopping for a lovely lunch at Merricks Store. One of our afternoon wineries notified Cam that they needed to cancel because of a power outage, so we detoured to the Pt. Leo Estate Sculpture Park before ending our day at Ten Minutes by Tractor. While all the cellar door tastings were very enjoyable, we all agreed that Crittenden Estate was the absolute standout. Andrew, the manager at Crittenden Estate, was incredibly knowledgeable and really made our experience memorable. All in all, it was a worthwhile all day experience that was a solid value at $250 per person given all the wineries we visited, the quality of the lunch, and the exceptional care from Cam. Why try to visit cellar doors yourself when you can be chauffeured by someone knowledgeable like Cam who will make sure that you have a safe, fun, and memorable experience? I gave Vinetrekker highest marks!

Great exclusive tour with great wine - The whole day was so great! I went to Yarra Valley for wine tasting the previous day, and Mornington is less commercialized and quieter. We went to 5 wineries, and there were only 3 visitors including myself - which makes it very exclusive. Our guide Cam is local, and very informative about wine. All 5 wineries were different and unique - I love them all. The lunch was also great! Definitely recommended!

Amazing and highly Personalized Mornington Peninsula Wine Tour with the best of Guides - I arrived at the agreed upon location, looking for a big bus to board, and thought that I had missed my pick up! Paul arrived minutes later in a classy and more personable Mercedes passenger van. I was the only passenger picked up at that location. As it turns out, the only other pickup was for a couple celebrating something like their 25th anniversary. We were the only passengers of the tour, which meant that Paul could share with us all his viticultural knowledge as well as knowledge of the Mornington Penninsula. As passengers, we had a good amount of interaction with each other as well as private moments for each party. We were given plenty of time at each of the highly curated and quality stops, we seemed to be the only ones and perhaps first of the day, no big tour groups to compete with us for attention of the winery personnel who gave us their undivided attention. Lunch was at the Merricks Store, an amazing restaurant. Paul was not cheap in scheduling a meal for us worthy of our premium wine tour. I was "that guy" and took a picture of my amazing food. I recall that it was pasta in squid ink with something like crab meat mixed in, paired with a lovely wine selection. In summary, I highly recommend Paul as your guide... You will enjoy it.

Brilliant day out, highly recommend! - What a fantastic day out! After having done a tour to the Yarra Valley last time we were in Melbourne we wanted something different this time and came across this tour to Mornington with Vinetrekker. Whilst more expensive than others we were looking at it is well worth the money, the quality of wineries and food throughout were exceptional as well as the beautiful settings. Crittenden was our first stop and what a way to kick off the tour, the wines were definitely our favourite of the tour! Though it was hard to choose as all we visited were lovely. We ended up being the only ones on the tour which might have been a little strange for some but Cam made us feel like long lost friends and we really enjoyed our day getting to know him and the Mornington Peninsula. Lunch at the General Store was delightful, beautiful food. Couldn't fault the tour and would recommend to anyone who enjoys good wine and beautiful food!
