- Marrakesh - On this expedition, you’ll get a feel for Morocco’s diverse topography, exploring the lush valleys of the Atlas Mountains and unique landscape of the Agafay Desert. In the mountains, you’ll visit several Berber villages and learn about local life, history and culture from your expert guide. You’ll spend time hiking, passing beautiful waterfalls, hamlets and ancient fields of typical crops. A Berber family will welcome you into their home for a traditional Moroccan lunch.
During the second part of your tour, you’ll drive through the panoramic Kik Plateau to the rocky Agafay Desert. Here, you can discover sandstone and earthen terrain, traditional mud villages and dusty riverbeds interspersed with verdant vegetation. You’ll take tea with locals and watch a magnificent sunset over the Atlas Mountains.

On this tour through the Atlas Mountains, you’ll visit hamlets, villages and countryside vistas while getting an insight into the local culture.
After browsing goods at an argan oil cooperative and a traditional Berber market, you’ll pass hamlets including Targa and Imoula while travelling to Imlil. Your guide will tell you about Berber heritage on the way. You’ll also eat a traditional Moroccan meal with a Berber family and take in panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains from the Kik Plateau.
With your guide, you’ll stop at the Barrage Lalla Takerkoust lake to observe the natural scenery. You’ll round off the tour by driving through the Agafay Desert, before drive back to Marrakech and drop you at your accommodation
