High Atlas Mountains - After Breakfast at your accommodation in Marrakech, pick up at 9am depart towards the direction of Amizmiz Village on the foothill of high atlas mountain in the altitude of 1000 meters and its one hour drive and we pass through the Agafay desert.
Arrive at Amizmiz Village, meet your local guide at the centre , briefing about the day ( can be moderate or basic walk) and start the walk up to the first village of Tafgaght where you will have tea break in Berber House after one hour walk, and we continue up hills to Tizi n Tiqi pass 1300m and down to Anougal valley , enjoying the stunning views over the Valleys and peaks covered with snow, unforgettable moment at the summit taking pictures while your guide explaining about the Atlas summits, valleys names, Berber lifestyle, and the history of the Berbers.
After lunch in berber family home we walk down the valley and meet your driver and drive you back to the same address in Marrakech.

Exceptional! Fantastic 3 hour hike - We did a three hour hike with Mouad and it was incredible - a real highlight of our trip. Mouad is exceptionally knowledgable of the local area (Amizmiz) and answered our barrage of questions in detail. He knew all there was to know about the flora, fauna and the local villages we walked through. The views were stunning, it was a lovely break away from the chaos of Marrakech and gave us the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Moumad was an excellent guide and we would thoroughly recommend

Great day hike with brilliant guide Mouad - We had a great time on our day hike in the Atlas Mountains. Really beautiful views of the mountains and we learned a great deal about the local area and Morroccan history. Mouad was a great storyteller and answered all of our questions. The Berber lunch was also fantastic!

Day hike from Amizmiz - Mouad guided us on a full day hike in the hills from Amizmiz involving 5hours walking and a delicious lunch hosted by a friendly local family half way through. The scenery was stunning and the walk took us through fields filled with spring flowers and local villages. The majority of the walk was easy terrain following quiet local tracks and then the descent after lunch was a fun scramble down following the river valley, which Mouad had assessed that we were up to and our footwear was suitable for (there was another route if needed). Along the way, Mouad was very interesting company, kindly telling us about his life and insights into the local communities. Overall a fantastic day.

Fantastic Atlas Mountains Hike with Lunch - Moad is a genuine star! He knows the local area well and is able to offer unique insights into the land and its people. A highly recommended trip and something that we wish we could do again for longer!
We went for a one day hike in the Atlas Mountains with a local lunch, a truly great experience.

Great day with amazing views - I had a great trip and a great time with Nouraddine. We visited the Atlas Mountains and an old Kashba. We had nice stops (good food, voffee, views & clean bathrooms) . The road and views (canyons, mountains, villages etc) were amazing. Nouraddine is a great guide. He will do what ever it takes to make you happy. Nothimg is a problem.

Fabulous day - This trip was included in an auction bid prize so we were unaware of what it entailed… we were very pleasantly surprised.
Mouad was an excellent guide who changed plans to suit us. I didn’t have the best footwear for climbing the mountain all day but enjoyed a good hour and 45 minute hike, with Mouad explaining wildlife, flowers about the villages and about their lifestyle.
We walked to a village in the mountains where Fadimah and her lovely daughter cooked bread and then a tagline lunch which was delicious… we met her children and locals it was very special.
Mouad suggested we went to see pottery making and we went in the mini bus. I got to try the potters wheel … not as easy as it looks ! I made a tagine base and wrote my name in it and Mouad wrote it in Arabic underneath.
We couldn’t recommend Mouad as a guide more highly and will definitely will get in touch for another tour with him when we return

Mouad was excellent!! - We had an amazing half day hike in the Atlas Mountains with Mouad. It was an amazing experience and he tailored it exactly to what we wanted. I could not recommend more highly!

Brilliant High Atlas day trip - I had an absolutely superb day with Nourredine exploring the high Atlas Mountains and experiencing Berber culture, hospitality and cuisine. We explored places that are truly off the beaten track and away from tourist hotspots - absorbing beautiful scenery- and fantastic company. I would highly recommend and will definitely be asking Green Atlas Travel to take me on more trips in the future.
