Highlights

Segovia is an amazing town. It is unbelievable that such a small city could have 3 monuments that, any of them would be worth to be visited alone. It has been considered a city world heritage.

First. The Roman Aqueduct. A work from 2000 years ago that still stands as the first day. We are happy if a visitor tells us he does not have a concrete image of what he is going to find. He is the one to enjoy more in the tour. It allows us to act as if we were like David Copperfield making our visitors to have an impresion that maybe they will never forget in the rest of their lives.

We consider the building of the Aqueduct 2000 years ago a more impresive work that what man did in 1969 getting to the Moon. We try to make our visitors see how the ancient inhabitants of that area would feel when they saw that the Romans were building that authentic jewel.

And you get into this town crossing those arches and meet a town out of a dream. Much of it dedicated to being visited on foot in which each stone oozes history. Spain and Segovia are the unrepeatable consequence of their peculiar history, with influences of all those who passed  through these lands. Ancient Iberians, Romans, Visigoths, Arabs, Jews, French. They all left their mark there. And we, Spaniards are very proud about it.

After having visited the Aqueduct you might think that there is nothing more to see but when you come across the Cathedral you find it unique. You see it during the day, at night, on the  outside, inside. And no matter how you look at, you fall in love with it.

But there is even more. There is an amazing castle, the Alcazar. It is so formidable that Walt Disney himself was inspired to design the Castle that appears in Snow White and 7 Dwarfs. In few words a fairy tale Castle.

Well. We see all that after having visited a fantastic winery in an area that is considered has some of the best wines of Spain. There we will taste its wines. Then we have lunch. We have the challenge that the winery and lunch have to be at the same level as Segovia. (Lunch 25 euros additional aprox)

Wine will also be with us during our visit to Segovia. We strongly believe that everything is much nicer with a glass of wine in hand.

Why should you come with us to this tour? Because of Segovia? The winery? Wines? Lunch? A combination of all that. One thing we know is that we are going to make our best to make you have an unforgettable experience. That is what we have been doing for years and that is what we are going to be doing in our next tour. Come with us.

Great day! - My husband and I went off to a trip from Madrid to the beautiful town of Segovia with our guide Ignacio. The all day trip included a stop at a winery northwest of Madrid. What a treat. We had a private tasting and sampled some well crafted wines(and bought and shipped some home to the USA for later consumption). Ignacio is a lively and friendly guide and on our drives he provided a crash course in Spanish history. In Segovia we toured the ancient castle and one time capital of Spain, the cathedral and the Roman aqueduct that supplied water to the center of the city. Ignacio is a lover of wine, Spanish history and Iberian ham! You will have a great day touring the heart of Castile with an infectiously upbeat and charming guide. Have fun!

Highlight of our visit to Madrid - My mom and I went on this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Madrid. First we had an amazing tour of a winery in the Ribera Del Duero region. As a wine enthusiast I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the wine making process and then the tasting. We then had an amazing lunch and then headed to Segovia. Segovia was breathtaking. The castle, cathedral, and aqueducts were all fascinating. Ignacio gave us so much history and interesting facts and really customized the tour to cover what we wanted to see. I would give this tour 10 stars if I could!

Wonderful full day tour!! - Ignacio was awesome. He was so passionate about every part of the tour and it made for a remarkable experience. The tour started at the winery, which we really enjoyed. After the tasting we were able to purchase wine and have it shipped back to the states. The lunch that we had at the local restaurant in Milagros was awesome. The lamb chops were so delicious and unlike anything we’ve eaten before. Segovia was absolutely stunning. The castle, the church and the aqueducts were the icing on the cake of this great tour.

Best tour ever! - We had the best day with Ignacio! So good that my husband thought it was possibly the best thing he had ever done on holiday!! There were 5 of us, 3 adults and 2 18-year-olds. We all had the best day. It was a wonderful way to experience the Spanish countryside. We learnt so much about Spanish history from Ignacio during the drive. Our first stop was to the wine tasting. What a great way to learn about Spanish wine and culture! Lunch was very tasty lamb. Very different to what we have at home. Very delicious. We loved Segovia and all the little things that Ignacio did to make it easy for us. Buying the tickets, guiding us through the sites, taking us to eat freshly cut jamon and sipping wine watching the Segovia twilight. We loved it all! Highly recommended for people who light small, private tours and like to do slightly different things to the masses.

Memorable tour with great and friendly guide - Great tour with great tour guide! We thoroughly enjoyed the vineyard tour and wine tasting. The tour was long and included a fair amount of driving to different sites, so get a good night sleep the night before. It was the most memorable tour of our stay in Madrid.

Friendly, Knowledgeable, and Flexible - Enjoyed the personal, behind the scenes winery tour before great wine tasting (6 varieties). Ignacio provided us with information on Spanish history and wine making as we drove north out of Madrid. Enjoyed seeing the countryside out of the big city. Segovia was a wonderful, quaint town to visit, castle, cathedral, and historic town. Our “small group” was just that, our two couples in a comfortable Mercedes mini-van.

Highly recommended - Ignacio is the best guide. He is knowledgeable and fun and very thoughtful. The winery we visited was good. It is grape harvest season now so we could really see the whole process of turning grapes into wine, and we even had the chance to try out the grapes for winemaking. We tasted some good wines and bought some at excellent prices. The place for lunch Ignacio brought us to had nice food. Then we went to Segovia after lunch and saw the castle, cathedral and of course the aqueduct. Too bad we didn’t have many days in Madrid, otherwise we would definitely love to join more tours with Ignacio.
