Experience of a lifetime! Views were magnificent! - The tour was AMAZING!! Once we arrived, we opted for the private tour which was so worth the extra money. The views were spectacular and the carts were so fun to drive. Definitely recommend Cactus Tours!

A fun afternoon with Cactus Tours - This was the highlight of our Cabo trip for my husband. I booked a private UTV experience through our resort for him as a birthday gift, and he had a great time driving over the terrain and I (a somewhat unwilling passenger LOL) enjoyed the beautiful scenery. If you are the passenger, be prepared to get bounced around, but take in all of the beautiful views! The group tour participants couldn't take their phones, but we could because we purchased the private excursion. There are plenty of employees taking video and snapping photos for you, but it is additional money to purchase them. Our guide did a great job adjusting to my husband's driving skill level, and about halfway through we took a pit stop to grab water and feed the camels. While I cannot think of our name, I would recommend him! After your tour, you can stay for lunch and a tequila tasting. My husband said these were the best tacos he had during our stay, and we purchased three bottles of tequila to bring home including a really interesting hazelnut cream tequila that I can't wait to add to our coffees this weekend. Thank you, Cactus Tours, for a fun afternoon!

Big costs for low payoff experience - Cactus Tours promised an adrenaline-fueled adventure, yet the reality fell notably short of expectations, peppered with undisclosed fees and restrictions. My journey with them began with a phone call to a representative named Ash, who, despite being informative, came off as somewhat unfriendly. Eager for a thrilling experience, I was assured that if all participants agreed, our small group could "go fast and let loose." Encouraged by this, I booked the tour. Unfortunately, the experience began with confusion. The directions provided were unclear, lacking a precise address, which led to a frustrating start as we arrived 25 minutes late after several calls to Ash for guidance. Upon arrival, we were hit with the first undisclosed fee: $150 if we wished to take pictures during the tour—an option necessitated by their policy against using personal phones for photos during the activity. The surprises continued with a mandatory insurance fee, again not mentioned during the initial booking. Our two-hour guided tour also included a non-negotiable 30-minute water break, which felt more like a tactic to shorten our drive time than a necessity. The vehicles provided were governed to a maximum speed of 50 mph, and despite the earlier implication of freedom, we were required to drive single file at all times. The governance of the vehicles and the stringent format of the tour seemed to be driven by liability concerns rather than guest experience. Even a simple request made to our guide for a video shot was forgotten, adding to the disappointments of the day. In conclusion, Cactus Tours may not live up to the expectations of thrill-seekers looking for a high-octane experience. While the staff is knowledgeable, the multitude of restrictions and additional fees significantly dampen the overall value and enjoyment of the adventure. For those seeking a truly limitless and exhilarating experience, it may be worthwhile to consider other options in the vicinity that better cater to such desires. Buyer beware: the experience at Cactus Tours may involve more red tape and hidden costs than anticipated, making it less than ideal for those looking to push the boundaries of adventure tourism. Let's if I get canned reply or if there is a resolve 🤔
