If you’re in the Dominican Republic J Raven is a MUST USE travel agency!!!! - Our tour was a great opportunity to see different parts of samana - especially if you like a bit of activity! The hike to Limon Waterfall was lovely, I would say be precautious of the amount of locals trying to get money out of you for taking pictures and selling things. The visit to Cayo Levanto was really cool, make sure you dose up on suncream and bring towels and things to freshen up with - they have facilities there and take card/ cash as you can buy more food and drinks if you like. J Raven were extremely professional & genuinely a high quality service - definitely worth the value for money & would highly recommend booking with them. Genaro was our driver who was very safe on the roads and had a clean and high quality van. Jairol was our tour guide; he was funny, full of energy, provided great insight into the region and areas we were specifically visiting, he spoke several languages and was very attentive throughout the excursion. We have really enjoyed Dominican Republic, but we would say from experience as a tourist you must go with a travel agency to help curate the more authentic experiences - which we didn’t - fortunately after using a few local excursion agencies we did find J Raven.
