We initiate the excursion with a pickup from your accommodation, and within just 15 minutes, we arrive at the ranch. Here, you can unwind while taking in the spectacular vistas of the Cusco periphery. Enjoy the sight of our content horses roaming freely on our land. Before we commence, we’ll match you with a horse suitable for your proficiency level, and brief you on safety precautions. Following this, we’ll proceed to the Moon Temple, where we’ll visit and provide insight into this mystical shrine where the Incas conducted moon worship rituals. Subsequently, we’ll head to the Chacan Mountain, also known as the ‘Devil’s Balcony’. It offers opportunities for enjoyment, relaxation and learning about our heritage. When we arrive at the summit of Chacan, we’ll break for a light refreshment while we marvel at the elevated view of Cusco city. Ultimately, we return to the ranch to bid farewell and express our gratitude to our horses for the delightful experience they’ve offered. The transportation will be ready to take us back to your accommodation.

Fantastic experience with horses and about the history - It was an amazing tour with so much care and respect for the horses and the riders. Gabriel gave us so much historical information about the area we were driving through and about Peru in general. There was room for questions and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Excellent care for the horses. I can 100% recommend it as a beginner or experienced rider. Many thanks Gabriel and team!

Perfect afternoon in Cusco - This tour was just wonderful. It was just me as others had to postpone due du health reasons, still Gabriel gave it his all. From the pickup on he told me many things about Cusco and the Inka heritage and answered all my questions.
Visiting the Inka sites was a wonderful experience and being there, far from the crowds, riding trough those beautiful landscapes with a breathtaking view on Cusco made my trip special. We even saw a wild guinea pig.
My horse and the other horses of the ranch are treated so well. We saw other horses on our way who were not unfortunately (saddle kept on the whole day, not being able to run freely).
I rode for several years in my teens so Gabriel adjusted the level to that and I could experience the special peruvian trot “paso llano”.
Overall can only recommend!

Fun! - I thought it was a really great experience. It was my first time riding a horse. I was a bit nervous but everything turned out well. I would say though make sure you bring a backpack, if it’s hot wear light long sleeves (horse takes you through some branches), and pants/shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. Strongly advise against shorts.

Best thing there is to do in Cusco! - I have taken adventure rides with Gabriel's on three different occasions over a span of 4 years. It's always the highlight of my travels to Peru!! Gabriel has wonderful, well-cared for horses and matches riders with a compatible horse for their riding experience. Wranglers often walk along with inexperienced riders, too. The scenery is truly breath taking and Gabriel will narrate a lot of history along the way. It's the best thing there is to do in Cusco. Door to door service from your hotel is also provided.

Wonderful - If I could give this experience more than five, I definitely would. Everything from the pick up to the return to Cusco, was great. I usually try and ride wherever I go, but this was far and away the most amazing experience. The horses are well looked after, gentle and sure-footed. Gabriel is a knowledgeable and interesting guide, and clearly loves his horses. The ride was nothing less than spectacular, taking in mountains, forests, Inca temples and glorious views over Cusco. A totally wonderful experience .

Great experience to Templo de la Luna with Gabriel and horse friends - Great experience! My first time horseback riding and it was so awesome! We went through the moi rains Gabriel has known this land his whole life he is passionate and knowledgeable. The horses are well taken care of living on a 100 acre ranch well tended to. The horses were so gentle and knew the way!

Beautiful ride - The ride at Gabriel's Ranch was so much fun. The horses were selected based upon our prior experience. The wranglers helped us mount and dismount and walked along to take care of us. The ranch is beautiful with open fields, Inca ruins, the Inca Trail, wooded areas, and scenic vistas. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride at Gabriel's ranch and would highly recommend the excursion to see the beauty of Peru.
