Must do in Hoi An - This was the most amazing tour I've done so far during my stay in Vietnam. Harry was an amazing tour guide, friendly, passionate, helpful, knowledgeable and fun! Can't recommend him and the tour highly enough. Very authentic experience visiting villages as they go about their work ... making noodles, rice wine, weaving and more. Fantastic experience. Thanks so much Harry for your flexibility and giving me an experience in Vietnam that I will never forget.... and sharing the incredible photos you took on my journey.

The best tour!!! - This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! Guides Harry and Leo were so energetic and engaging. My kids were too scared to travel by scooter so we had an air conditioned van at no extra cost to us. Everyone was friendly and we truly felt welcomed into people’s homes. We learned so much and would recommend this tour to everyone!

The best tour! - This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. We were a family of 4 with two kids age 8 and 11. We didn’t feel comfortable taking scooters so an air conditioned van was provided at no additional cost. The tour was the perfect mix of learning/experiences and rest breaks (amazing coffee and noodles). The locals welcomed us into their homes and we didn’t feel out of place or voyeuristic. Guides Harry and Leo were so friendly, enthusiastic and engaging. We 100% recommend this tour to everyone!

Unique insight into real Vietnamese life - To avoid the tourist crowds in the old town, we booked this tour with Harry. It was absolutely the right decision because we gained so many invaluable insights into real life outside of tourism in Vietnam. The tour thrives on the enthusiasm and friendliness of the tour guide Harry. I would really recommend the tour to anyone interested in insight into the hard work and life of Vietnamese people!

An incredibly special day to remember - Harry is just the loveliest tour guide - he was so warm and friendly, spoke great English, was funny, informative and genuinely interested in making sure we had the best time possible. I booked this tour as part of a birthday trip to Vietnam for my 65 year old mother and he was so sweet to make a fuss of her as if she were his own mum, answering all her questions and going out of his way to show her anything extra she had questions about - like wanting to see how peanuts grow! It was such a special pleasure to be received by locals in rural communities around Hoi An who we never otherwise would have met and to learn their crafts. It felt like we were seeing the real Vietnam, and actually contributing to the local economy directly by going on this tour. AND Harry took SO many gorgeous pictures and videos of our experience which he shared with us straight after so we have all the memories together captured. I can't recommend it highly enough - you're going to have the most magical time. Just book it already!!

Excellent! - Loved Angieeadventures so much, joined for a second tour. This tour blew us away! It’s as “local” of an experience as it gets. Made some incredible connections with people from rural areas - they are forever in our hearts.

Amazing and authentic experience - My husband and I booked the Real of Rural Hoi An tour as we wanted to see more of the real Vietnam, the Vietnamese people, their culture and way of life, and this tour offered us exactly that. Simply put, it was raw, real, unpretentious, but beautiful, authentic, and mesmerising. It was also very hands on, so we were able to try everything ourselves at least once. Harry and Nga took us around on the Cam Kim island, a completely different vibe than the pretty Hoi An ancient town. We learned so much about the local people, how they make a living and how hard they work day in and day out. We started by visiting the local fishermen on the coast, how they bring the fish back to the land to be sold in the markets, continued by visiting a fish sauce workshop to learn the traditional way of how it is made, we followed this by seeing how the Quang noodle and rice paper is made locally, before venturing onto a rice wine making business owned by an army veteran of many talents including playing the guitar and singing. We finished the day by meeting a married couple who are 60+ years old, they farm, dry and dye local reeds before hand weaving such colourful and immaculate mats of various sizes. They invited us to their home to have lunch with the family, local, simple, healthy and delicious food. This was by far one of the best memories we have made which we will treasure forever and all thanks to Harry and Nga who were brilliant all day long.
