A great introduction to Vietnamese street food - We were treated to some excellent local diners which we wouldn’t have discovered otherwise.Rosie was a brilliant guide and taught us much about Vietnamese food and culture-she even tried to teach us a little bit of the language! All in all I would highly recommend this tour

Must do when in Hoi An! - Rosie was an incredibly friendly and professional guide- Rosie really made our night!! In terms of the contents of the tour it was fantastic - we had tried various local dishes but this tour takes you to the original places in which the key unique ingredients come from or restaurant that are steeped in history. Without taking this tour we would have never known the significance of certain restaurants or understood the history behind the dishes. We finished the night off with a boat cruise that was included which was the perfect way to finish off what was one of the highlights of our stay in Hoi An.

Bucket list tour - This tour was a highlight of our trip, Rosie made us feel welcome from the start of the tour, each place we went to was amazing, every new food was explained to us, both its significance and history which was interesting to learn about. We experienced the night life of Hoi An, and really helped us get our bearings. Anyone who visits Vietnam should book this tour as it was an amazing way to experience the street food and culture.

A must if you are in Hoi An and a foodie! - We absolutely enjoyed our street food tour which also included a little lantern boat trip as a finishing touch. Our host Rosie was really entertaining and really took us to the authentic, local street food. Without this tour, I would have never tried certain food especially the real tradition and specialty of Hoi An food that would be hard to get anywhere else outside of Hoi An. I really recommend this tour to anyone staying here.

Don’t skip this one. Delicious and learned so much. - We made the wise choice to join this street food tour our first evening in Hoi An. Rosie was the most excellent, informative, friendly and fun guide. Her English is great and she shared so much of the history of the food establishments that we came away with a more complete understanding of where we were. We felt as if we were being taken into an inner circle of local families. I do feel she enhanced our visit to Hoi An tremendously! She then sent me a message with the addresses so we could return to any….which we did! Don’t hesitate to take this tour.

Great food and friendly guide - Had a fun walking food tour with our lovely guide, Hanna. Tried several delicious local dishes including white rose dumplings and the famous Madam Khahn Banh Mi around the old town, ending with a lantern-lit boat ride on the way back. Highly recommended!

Brilliant food tour experience - Rosie was a fantastic guide! So friendly and with a great sense of humour. Brilliant food tour! Rosie spoke excellent English and was able to explain not just the dishes and the ingredients, but the reasons for their inclusion or omission in the recipe. We visited several places to try their signature dishes and I appreciated the portion sizes were perfect for tasting and sharing. As we walked from place to place Rosie also talked about Hoi An, and at each place she knew the family/owner and their food stories. It was great to visit authentic places which were family owned, and made excellent quality dishes. I couldn't pick a favourite, as I loved everything! A fantastic way to spend a few hours if you love food.

Worth every cent... Delicious food and fascinating history - We really enjoyed the Street Food tour with Dung Tran "Rosie." She was informative and fun, not just about the delicious food...of which there was way too much. But she also knew the families at each of the establishments she took us to. A good combination of local history and delicious food. You would be hard pressed to find all the little places Rosie took us to, and having a local there to guide you in how to eat it was also great. We started with White Rose dumplings and Hoanh Thanh Chien - Fried Wontons "Hoi An Pizza." Second course was at Bun Thit Nuong - "Thit Nuong," grilled pork skewers that you wrap in rice paper with salad/herbs and dip in a satay sauce. These are a must try! Third course was the at Madame Khanh, the Bahn Mi Queen. YUM! 4th course was Mi Quang - Thick noodles with shrimp (Prawns) pork and vegetables. 5th was the beautiful Cao Lou Restaurant that makes it famous noodles using water from the Ba Le well. Rosie explained the difference between noodles that come with a lot of soup and those that only come with a little broth in the bottom of the bowl. Next was "Chi Ma Phu" Black sesame soup, which was served with a delicious ginger tea. It was thick like custard but not super-sweet, very delicious. We then went to a traditional coffee roaster and cafe and enjoyed a coffee. Rosie then took us out on the river in the small wooden boats where we could light a candle and float it down the river, very cute. Again, going with a local stopped us from being harangued by the dozens of boat people vying for your business. The weather on our tour was not ideal... It was pouring down with rain. But Rosie kept us together and mostly dry as we made our way from one spot to the next. Hoi An is a beautiful city with a rich history in architecture, food and customs. This tour is worth every cent... Fun and informative.... Thanks Rosie
