Tasting an authentic vietnam life - We fully enjoyed this cooking tour. It was much more than just a cooking tour. The recipes are not too complicated but very fresh and yummy. The presentation / teaching was excellent. The boat trip was also very pleasant.

A must do in Hoi An - We spent a fantastic day with Thom! Everything is well organized and meaningful. She is really taking care of all and especially our children. We start the day with a visit to the local market, discover all local dishes, and taste some of them. After a small hour of boat, you arrive to the gran'ma house, which is well organized and well modernized to welcome us. The cooking time is really well organized and accessible to everyone. Thom was taking care of Gaspar(5yo) and our 2 daughters cooking by herself. Do not eat breakfast!! At the end of the day the quantity is too big... no waste, all is reused, but you are never satisfied not to eat something you prepared. Thank you Thom, is a amazing experience. You and your team are fantastic!

Warm and fun cooking experience. Highly recommend - My friends and I really enjoyed this experience! First, the meeting spot is in a neighborhood a few blocks away from ancient town and we really like the relaxed vibe there. We took the boat to the island where Thom’s grandma lives. Thom told us a bit about her and her grandma’s story and walked us through how to make rice paper and four different dishes (vegetarian option available). It was lots of good food so definitely come hungry! Thom’s family all helped guide us through the dishes - everyone was very hospitable and kind. Def recommend!

Very local - Honestly, we enjoyed the tour more than expected, as it does not have many reviews. The tour guide was so kind not just to us but the locals as well. Very informative in the local market and tried many local food. At the cooking class we learnt how to make rice paper from scratch in very traditional ways. We just loved the whole process and the people that helped the guide very kind, patient and helpful.

A Must Do! - Wonder, fantastic, awesome experience. Would highly recommend. Loc was our teacher and she was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable on the culture and cuisine Vietnam. The class was super fun and we made dishes that I am going to totally try and make it home! Would highly recommend this trip! You also get to do some hands on learning about how to actually make rice paper so it’s not just you’re sitting watching if she teaches you about the culture then you get to try and make some things and then you also of course do the cooking class and make your own food there really great time

Vietnamese cooking - Took the cooking classes and it was a lot of fun. You will learn to cook the Vietnamese way, which in itself is not very complicated. If you are in Hoi An I will definitely recommend this one.

Highly recommend to escape tourist hype of Hoi An. - Authentic village visit to a nearby island with family hospitality. Great cooking instruction at the back of the family home with resident rooster, chickens and ducks next door. Delicious. I also enjoyed watching the uncle and aunt weaving bed mats. Great to get a glimpse of village life. Thom’s ( our guide) English is excellent too.
