- Hoi An - Vietnamese food is famous as far away as Melbourne and Manchester thanks to its sharp and smoky contrasting flavors and use of fresh, tasty ingredients. In this country, food is more than a necessity: it’s a way of life!
We’ll be taking you on a foodie adventure of Hoi An, stopping at the city’s best restaurants and food stalls. We’ll try classic Vietnamese dishes like bánh mì baguettes as well as some delicacies only found in Hoi An. These include com ga hoi an (chicken seasoned with spices and served with rice) white rose dumplings, and cao làu noodles made with BBQ pork and crispy crackling. All these dishes have one thing in common: they’re seasoned to perfection with chili, lime, herbs, and spices.
During the tour, you’ll try four tasty Vietnamese dishes and wash them down with a popular dessert che, which is a Vietnamese sweet soup made out of pudding, jelly, and coconut sauce. Don’t have a sweet tooth? You can opt to have a local beer instead.
