We tried to get hold of you for 4 days and no one contacted us so we had to drive from Bellevue to your office which was closed but someone did answer the phone but my Aunty could not make the only appointment you had left on Tuesday as she had to work. We bought the Groupon tickets, called and an answer phone said they would contact us, emailed still no contact. The lady on the phone said it must have been another group, no it was you. My friend told me that you were really not organized when they took it about 6 months ago but we took the chance and my Aunty missed out. No one should have to do what we did to do the tour. We did love it but still a dirty taste in our mouths that it took what it took.
At first scary, but I did great and doing really well at the end, guide nice supportive....we will definitely do again...my grand kids Loved it
I enjoyed learning to ride a segway and the guide was great. Had great character and did a great job teaching everyone how to ride safely. However, I thought it would be more geared towards a tour of the city. Like facts about the city. There was some but not as much as I expected.
my tour guide was great, very energetic even with the weather being what is was. he was well versed in the history of Seattle. I thoroughly enjoyed my Segway tour and will be doing it again in the future
Our guide, Jonathan, was fun and quirky, which made the tour memorable. We really liked him. But the customer service we received when trying to book the tour (Jeffrey?) was disappointing and not very good. We decided to take a chance anyway, and are glad we did.
easy booking and great 2hrs spent learning to use and travelling round Seattle
It was a pleasure to go on this tour with our guide Cory. He explained how to ride the Segway and then took us to some of the most iconic Seattle landmarks. We zipped along the waterfront and then visited Seattle center with the Space Needle.
This was overall a great time, Ryan was personable and had some fun facts along the way. If I were pressed for any ideas how things might be improved I would say that in the orientation session the speed of the speech could be slowed down a notch as I found it a little difficult to absorb before we were on another topic. I really liked the historical and other facts but sometimes found it difficult to hear. The overall appearance and thus the impression of the business could be greatly improved by simply washing the windows and adding some signage, my wife and I both walked right by the store front and were unaware that we had. We are not strangers to Seattle and although this is a perfect place to base for your business it's no secret this is not the best part of town and nothing is going to change unless the businesses in that area work at making it change. Please do not take this as a criticism it only meant to assist.
It would be nice if more of Seattle downtown is covered.
Segway are a super fun way to see a city (especially one as hilly as Seattle). We enjoyed exploring the city and our guide was a lot of fun. The only thing I wish was different is for the tour to feel more like a tour. We didn't really get a lot of history or information about the places we went to. It was more of us just cruising around the city with two or three stops to explain things (like the space needle and pike place market). After the segway tour we did the underground Seattle tour and got WAY more information on the city, which would have been nice to get with the seaways. But otherwise training was smooth, ride was easy and enjoyable and our guide was very pleasant.
I would have liked a few more quick stops to hear about sights
I think Segway tours are a great way to get an overview of a city. My tour guide was very knowledgeable about Seattle and it's history.
Tour was fun but it's better when each person has their own headset to listen to history along the way, rather than trying to hear the tour guide use a bullhorn. Jonathan was eccentric and could have arrived earlier to teach new Segway riders so the time on the tour wasn't impacted. Overall the group was satisified and had a great time, but two of us has done multiple tours in other cities and found this one much less organized and professional.
We experienced our Segway tour just hours after landing in Seattle. The Segway 101 tutorial was effective and quite sufficient for someone who has never been on a Segway before. Our tour guide was awesome. He showed interest in us and what we were looking for in our tour and he shared information about Seattle... some of which I'd consider obscure. Information about the Seattle Aquarium, the Edgewater Hotel, the Space Needle, and the happenings underground during prohibition. The best part of the tour was experiencing it all on a Segway! We highly recommend this tour and would do it again just to ride the Segway.
This Segway tour is a really fun way to see a whole lot of the down town Seattle area & the water front in a short 2 hour time frame , it's the most fun you can have on two wheels !!!
Knowledgeable guide, covered a lot of ground!!
Brandon was wonderful! Accommodated our requests and had lots of info about the city. Wonderful!
Our training to use the Segway was excellent, and our guide was attentive to make sure the group stayed together. We felt the tour could have been much more informative about what we were seeing as we rode around.
The Segway ride itself and the areas we traveled were excellent. I was disappointed that 50 minutes of a 2 hr. tour was spent learning to ride Segways when only 2 out of the 8 people had never ridden one. I felt that too much time was spent indoors before getting to actually ride. Also we only stopped once for pictures and thought that we should have stopped more often.
Really enjoyed the tour. Riding a Segway was a great way to cover a lot of ground and see a big part of the downtown area, although with enjoying beautiful views. Our tour guide, Jonathan, taught us more about Seattle's history and current environment. Would highly recommend.
Effective instruction. We were concerned that the area would be too congested with pedestrian for a safe tour by beginners, but no problem. Allowed up close looks at downtown neighborhoods.
We went on the Segway tour as a family of four and we all enjoyed it. The tor was a great way to whizz around the key sights in Seattle and our guide was very knowledgeable. Being on a Segway made the tour special, and even our teenage sons enjoyed it. Thank you!!
Eric spent too much time on training and very little on tour guiding...telling people what they are seeing. He only articulated what we were seeing on the end of Pier 70 and at the EMP. To his benefit, the International Fountain was under repair and a train blocked the Alaskan Way crossing, so he took us north through the Myrtle Edwards park and over the overpass up to Seattle Center via the Key Arena entrance...possibly better than up the hill from the Sculpture Park!
Having never been on a Segway before, I was quite nervous but the guide had me zipping comfortably along after a brief practice session. We got an excellent overview of the city and the guide had lots of insight and knowledge of the places we visited.
Location was in a bad part of town. To make sure we were on time we got there early and found the door unlocked while the homeless begged from us. When making the reservations, the lady on the phone was not very helpful in assisting us to negotiate the city. Ryan did a great job.
I have been on Segway tours before where the guide used a walkie talkie system to make sure that all participants could hear the relevant information. That system wold have enhanced our experience. On the other hand, our guide, Jonathan, was very enthusiastic and that was good.
Great time. Guide was awesome. Highly recommend adding this to your vacation experience.
We felt the Seattle location was poor, the shop did not reflect a good professional business and looked and felt like a back alley trade. The tour leader was unexciting, in a hurry and looked like we woke him up. 30 min. into the tour he began to have more life and share more knowledge of the area. We have had an opportunity to take 4 other segway tours in other cities so we were not novices. At the end of the tour we had a challenge with the payment as I had paid on line thru Groupon.com and explained it to him. A call was made to his supervisor out of state. He was kind to cancel the charge and give us credit to make it right, alittle ackward. We thought he was cooperative yet ill informed of the policy and procedures with Groupon. Hopefully this constructive criticism will be beneficial to the success of your business.
