Guatemala City - The day will start early in the morning. We´ll pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and take a short ride to La Aurora International Airport. We are going to take a short 40 minutes flight to the northwest Department of Huehuetenango.
Huehuetenango - After getting out of the airport we´ll pick up some breakfast boxes to enjoy during the road. After landing we’ll move to the Highlands of the region and then change transportation to a 4WD vehicle. The ride to the woods and rivers´ borders is a full dirt road with incredible views of the green mountains and small Cenotes. Lunch will be taken on the road.
Laguna Brava - Arriving at the nature border we’ll start a 1- hour hike through turquoise rivers until we get to “Wild Lagoon”. This will be a camping adventure, so get ready to experience it.
Once we get to the summit we´ll set up the camp, have free time to enjoy the place, and make dinner.
Lagoon and Cenotes Mysticism
Laguna Brava - In the first hour of the morning, we are going to enjoy breakfast. After the meal, we will start our hike to visit 3 giant Cenotes, snorkel them and enjoy the calmness that only mother nature can provide. Enjoy your free time, then we´ll enjoy the boat ride to the south side of the lagoon and during the evening we are going to enjoy the beautiful lagoon views and finish the day with a wood fire.
Back to Civilization
Laguna Brava - Wake up with a mesmerizing view of the Wild Lagoon with its wonderful turquoise colors. Breakfast will be taken prior to lifting the camp and then we´ll start our journey back to Guatemala City.
Guatemala City - After arriving at La Aurora Airport, a bus pilot from our staff will be waiting for you. We will leave you safe and sound back to your hotel in Guatemala City.

Once we reach our destination, we encounter the enchanting Laguna Brava (Wild Lagoon) - a hidden gem with crystal-clear waters and pure, refreshing air. We embark on a boat ride to explore the Lagoon’s north side, where you’ll be marvelled by three striking cenotes of blue, green, and turquoise hues. We’ll snorkel in each one of them and take some time to unwind amidst nature.
