Starting from its first sighting in Kazakhstan around the year 1000, to its contemporary recognition as a symbol of the Netherlands. Delve into absorbing information about the tulip and understand the process of bulb cultivation interactively using modern equipment alongside antiques from before 1950.
After exploring the museum, the experience extends outdoors where you can see an array of majestic hues. Our display garden is home to 1 million tulips in 700 unique varieties, all sourced from our nursery.
At Keukenhof, witness 7 million bulbs blossoming this spring, featuring 800 varieties of tulips. It is a remarkable and memorable occasion! After leaving Keukenhof, the journey will take you to Giethoorn, known as ‘The Venice of the North’, one of the Netherlands’ most picturesque locations. Take a canal cruise and indulge in a delightful lunch option.
