This expedition provides an ideal opportunity to experience the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Joining this tour, you will experience a scenic water excursion, giving you a unique opportunity to observe the very locks that have facilitated the movement of voluminous quantities of bourbon throughout history. You’ll also enjoy a rare perspective of the distillery - from the water!
Post the river-view experience, we will head back to the distillery for the ‘Old Taylor Tour’. Walk through the legacy of bourbon with E.H. Taylor Jr., the pioneer who brought about transformation in the bourbon industry. Starting from the Old Taylor House, moving through to the OFC Building and OFC Fermenter #7, fondly known as “Old Taylor”, and eventually finishing at Warehouse C, you’ll get to observe both the remnants and preserved structures of Taylor’s magnus opus. Get to know about Taylor’s dedication towards utmost precision and purity in the bourbon production process, and understand how he moulded the industry as we know it today.
Please be aware that the tour path does incorporate stairs and will involve extensive walking. Therefore, we recommend that you wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothes.
